The chateaubriand flambé was the reason I came and it didn’t disappoint. Cooked exactly as asked, and watching them do it tableside is always a bit of theatre. Service stayed sharp without hovering. Only tiny gripe—the sides felt a bit afterthought-ish. But that main course? Solid.

Charming place, no doubt. Owners clearly put effort into the details. Felt exclusive but not stuffy. Solid choice if you're in the area.

The flambé filet was a nice touch — cooked tableside, sauce was genuinely good. Service kept up fine. Maybe a touch pricey for what it is, but decent.

The terrace is lovely for soaking up the sun, and the noodles were spot on. Red curry wasn't as memorable, but still a solid meal.

The lamb was cooked properly and the portion felt fair for the price. Nice to see a family-run spot in Martigny doing things right.

The daily menu is honestly a solid deal for what you get. Nothing fancy, but the dining room feels comfortable—simple chairs, decent lighting, not too cramped. I sat there a while and didn't feel rushed. Staff were friendly enough, though not overly chatty. If you're after a relaxed lunch without any fuss, this works. Just don't expect anything stylish.

The staff swapped our hot slate mid-meal without asking. That was a nice touch. Horse meat on the stone was decent, pretty fun to try.

Great spot for catching up with friends over proper Indian food. Owner actually took time to walk us through the menu. Place is tiny though, so definitely book first.

Friendly staff even when it was packed—that’s rare around here. Didn’t feel rushed at all, which I appreciated. Portions were decent for the price too.

This restaurant offers a warm welcome and excellent cuisine, making it a delightful dining experience.

We tried the seasonal menu and honestly the food was solid. The service was friendly but not hovering, which I liked. Cozy vibe, pretty quiet for a weeknight. Only thing is the portions are a bit small for the price, but I left satisfied. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

The hostess remembered us from last time, which I thought was really sweet. We sat by the window, plenty of room, not rushed at all. Food was homemade, you could taste the garden freshness in the vegetables. Just a nice, easy place to have a meal. Maybe slightly slow between courses, but honestly, it gave us time to relax.

The beef stroganoff was really good—tender meat, creamy sauce. We came for a birthday and the staff took care of us. Just wish the portion had been a bit bigger.

The peppermint hot chocolate was the highlight for me. Bagels were solid, coffee way better than most spots in Verbier. Just wish they had more seating.

The chimichurri here was properly fresh, not that bottled stuff. Staff didn't mind our dog either. Solid Argentinian spot.

Great spot for families with kids. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient with our group of two families, and the meat and raclette cheese were top quality. The wine list was a nice bonus.

Now under new management, this restaurant has really "upped its game". Food and service greatly improved and the view, directly on Lac Léman , is always spectacular.

The big burger was juicy, fries crispy the way they should be. That’s really all I care about. Place is small, a few tables outside. Service was quick but I wasn’t paying much attention to that. Price felt fair for Zermatt. I’d grab it again if I’m in the area.

Despite us arriving late and not being very quick off the mark to order, eat or finish up, all staff were nothing but courteous and patient. Unlike in other restaurants, not once did I feel they were irritated in any way. Of course, as always the food was top notch and the ambience perfectly comfortable and professional.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a margherita pizza—really solid, thin crust, decent amount of cheese. Wine was good too. Salad was fresh but nothing crazy. Place was pretty quiet around 1pm, which I liked. Would come back if I'm in the area and want a chill meal.

The fried rice was decent and the staff were friendly. Pad thai noodles came out a bit soggy though. Prices for drinks are steep for Brig, just so you know.

Nice staff.very welcoming . Great fondue , both cheese , chinois and beef.. large accompanying salads . 2 nd visit this winter . Will be back soon

The croutes au fromage were the real deal. Rich, properly cheesy, not one of those sad, dry versions you get sometimes. I’d come back just for that dish. Place was busy but we got a table quick enough.

The tasting menu was solid, but honestly the portions felt a bit small for what you pay. Great ingredients though, you can tell they use good local stuff.

Stanislav and Sandra were super friendly — honestly made the whole stay better. Nothing fancy, but the service stood out.

Came here on a Saturday night without a reservation and somehow got a table. Lucky us. The food was really good—fresh and full of flavor. Service was on point too, friendly without hovering. Honestly, a solid find in this area. Would go back if I'm ever in the region again.

Been coming here for a while now. The vegetarian pasta options are solid, never disappoint. Portions are on the smaller side though, so I usually grab a starter too.

The brunch menu at La Taverne du Café is truly top-notch, with generous portions that make for a delightful experience. Highly recommend it for a lovely outing!
