The family running this place is so warm. They remembered we liked the window seat from last time and saved it for us. Just a really nice, personal touch that makes you feel at home.

This was our second dinner at El Mosquito and there will definitely be a third next time we visit Vigo. Great food and wine pairing.

The price tag is a bit steep, but you can taste it in every bite. The ingredients are so fresh, and the care in the preparation is obvious. It feels justified.

The set menu is a good deal. I really liked the cream of vegetable soup—you could tell the vegetables were fresh. The grilled meat was also homemade, which is nice to see. For around €13, it's a solid choice if you're watching what you eat.

Been coming here for years, a proper local spot. The portions are huge for the price, you definitely get what you pay for. My husband and I shared a main and still had leftovers. Solid choice when you're hungry.

Lunch was solid — crab starter and the beans with seafood were good. Place was full of locals, which says a lot. Portions could be a bit bigger for the price, but I left satisfied.

The pastel de nata was still warm, crust flaking everywhere. Ate it too fast, burned my tongue a bit. Coffee was decent, nothing fancy. Sat outside by the river, but honestly wasn't paying much attention to the view. Just wanted another one of those custard tarts. Maybe should've ordered two.

The tasting menu at this restaurant is a culinary journey filled with unexpected flavors and surprises. Highly recommended for those looking to explore Peruvian cuisine!

The croquettes were lovely, crispy outside and creamy inside. I did wish the chairs were a bit more padded for a longer sit, but the service was friendly and attentive.

We enjoyed the regional food. I particularly enjoyed the locally produced Cachena beef. The waiters were friendly and attentive.

Oscar is an amazing chef and host. We had the most enjoyable dinners. We found out about the restaurant through their website and we ended up returning there, although we only had a few days in Vigo. Oscar pays special attention to all his guests and the menu is the best that Gallego culinary experience can offer. We highly recommend it!

Loved how bright and airy this place feels. It's just a really comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal, you know? The natural light is so nice.

The grilled sardines were so fresh and tasty. What really made the meal for me was how comfortable the seating was, with plenty of space between tables. It's a small thing, but it makes a difference when you want to relax.

Been coming here for years. The tatami seating is what keeps me coming back. It’s a cozy, authentic spot in Vigo that always feels just right.

The coffee is the star here. Got a flat white, and the beans had this deep, nutty flavor that came through perfectly. The little cake on the side was fine, just a simple, not-too-sweet bite. But honestly, I'd go back just for that coffee.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with the vegetarian options. They really took the time to make sure we were comfortable.

We arrived (party of 5) for the last resevation spot at 10:30pm... after a warm welcome, we noticed that everyone in Silabario team was like it was the first spot: fresh looking, smiling and happy for being serving us!!! Coming from Caribbean (Dominican Rep) we really appreciate this attitude, because announces that great things follows... and we was 100% correct!! After being seated in a very comfortable table, with a great view of huge Christmas light decoration in streets of Vigo nearby... the Chef & Owner Alberto Gonzalez Prelcic gave us the welcome and all explanations about the menu options and of course , the formal protocol about allergies, we start making jokes with him, in a very candid conversation!About the wine, main food and desserts, all was simply fantastic, (another partner of the table will write about the food!) and with continuous bread to cleanse the palate after each of the dishes, we have a night of great flavors, textures and presentations with amazing team!!

Stopped here on the Camino. Vegan burger was solid, decent portion. Friends enjoyed the mussels. Service was quick, which was appreciated after a long walk. Convenient location right on the route.

The black rice with prawns was so rich and flavourful. The octopus ceviche had this perfect, bright acidity. Loved the local Albariño they suggested with it.

Lovely spot on the terrace at Plaza de Compostela. Had a gin and tonic here, it was just right. The seating was comfortable, and the service was friendly and relaxed. A very pleasant, easy way to spend an afternoon.

The set menu was a solid deal. The fish was fresh, and the house white they suggested paired nicely with it.

The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly, and the wine list was impressive. My only note is that the chairs were a bit uncomfortable for a longer dinner. Still, a nice spot for a relaxed meal.

The vibe here is just right. A classic Vigo spot, buzzing but not overwhelming. Perfect for a casual drink and tapas with friends. The energy in the room feels authentic, not forced.

The free tapas with drinks is a smart move. Had a glass of Rioja and they brought out some patatas bravas. Decent portions, good value. Service was quick. Solid spot for a casual bite and a drink.

The terrace is a lovely spot. Had a glass of Rioja with the grilled octopus—the pairing really worked. A very pleasant evening, though service was a bit slow once the place filled up.

Stopped by for a burger, you can pick everything. The beef was really good quality, tasted fresh. Staff was nice even with my basic Spanish. A solid choice if you're in the area.

Been coming here for years. The set menu is a solid deal, good portions. Their Iberian pork cutlet is the one I always get. Tender, traditional.

The tiramisu was really nice, but that Manchego cheesecake? Wow. First time trying something like that. You can tell they put thought into it.

The black rice was the standout. The rice itself had a perfect bite, not mushy at all, and the squid ink flavor was deep without being fishy. The croquettes were good, especially the ham one, but the rice is what I'll remember.

Nice local spot right on the main road. The vibe is relaxed and it's a good break from the busier areas.
