The Swiss steak was the kind of tender that makes you slow down and actually taste. Lamb chops too, honestly. Staff handled a special request without blinking, which I appreciated. Grilled shrimp were good but the steak stayed with me. Place has a quiet confidence to it. Maybe a bit pricey, but I left feeling like I'd been somewhere.

The cheese fondue was spot on—white wine came through nicely without being too sharp. Liked that they served roasted potatoes alongside instead of the usual boiled ones. Made a big difference honestly. Place was busy but we got seated quick enough. Would come back just for that fondue.

The chef literally grills every piece himself and brings it to your table. That personal touch made the whole dinner feel way more special than just another steak night. We came with a few friends and ended up staying way longer than planned. Only thing is the place is small so you kinda sit close to strangers, but honestly that added to the vibe 😄

The cheese fondue with vegetables and potatoes was really good. Fresh ingredients, you could taste it in the veggies. Service was friendly too, though it took a bit to get the bill. Nice spot if you're in the mood for something hearty but not too heavy.

The buffet spread was solid, lots of tasty options. Staff really looked after us, even gave my kid some puzzles and pencils to keep busy. Nice touch.

The white wine soup really stood out — rich and comforting. Staff were friendly too. Would’ve liked a bit more bread on the side, but honestly a solid lunch stop.

The Matterhorn view from the terrace is unreal, and the rösti with egg and cheese is the best I've had in Zermatt. A perfect lunch stop on the slopes.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The electronic wine list caught my eye—huge selection, especially the Valais ones. Food was solid, service fast enough for a midday break. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd grab a bite here again.

The tagliatelle tasted properly fresh, not like something reheated in a back kitchen. Right by the station, so it's easy to pop in before catching a train. Service was quick, almost too quick—felt a bit rushed. But for a casual bite in Zermatt, it does the job.

Solid pasta. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Service friendly enough, nothing crazy. Tagliatelle was the move. Bit pricey for what it is, but I'd go back.

The view is the whole reason to come here. Self-service place, plenty of seats. Lamb leg with polenta and grilled veggies was a solid deal for 27 CHF.

The raclette was solid, and the rosti with sausage hit the spot. Chocolate fondue was too dark for me, but the staff were quick. Definitely book ahead, it fills up fast.

The salad bar was fresh, and the rösti hit the spot. Self-service keeps things quick, though it’s not the coziest vibe. Fine for a fast lunch.

Black pasta and sea bream were solid. Staff friendly enough, food came quick. Nothing fancy but did the job for a casual dinner.

Booked ahead since the place is tiny. Staff adjusted the fondue to add veggies without any fuss. That flexibility was the highlight honestly. Fondue itself was decent, nothing mind-blowing but solid. Service was quick and efficient. Fine for a casual dinner if you're in the area. Just don't expect anything fancy.

The vegan croissant was a real treat, flaky and buttery tasting. Staff were lovely and patient explaining the options. It does get pretty tight when they’re full though, had to squeeze past a few chairs.

Pancakes were on point. Fluffy, not too sweet. Coffee hit the spot too. Solid breakfast spot.

Been coming here for years, and the steaks are always the same generous size, cooked just right. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Great choice of craft beers here, on tap and in bottles. They have some real local finds you won't see everywhere. Had a couple pints of their seasonal IPA, solid stuff.

Nice surprise finding this place. The ping pong tables kept the kids entertained for ages.

The portions are generous, which I appreciate. The food is decent, but it doesn't feel particularly authentic to the area. The seating was quite comfortable, which made for a relaxed meal.

The terrace view of the lake at dusk is a real highlight. It's the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of their house red—a nice, easy-drinking Sangiovese that pairs well with the relaxed vibe. A bit of a wait for the drinks to arrive, but worth it for the scenery.

The tableside tartare was the star. They make it right there, which is cool. The hummus and carpaccio were solid too. A good, simple spot for a casual bite.

I was impressed by the variety of fresh ingredients in their cocktails. You can really taste the quality. The atmosphere was relaxed, which made for a nice evening.

The ceviche was super fresh and the picanha had that nice smoky kick from the Josper grill. Cool spot for a catch-up with friends, just get ready for it to get loud once it fills up 😅

The plating was so thoughtful, really stylish. Portions are generous and everything tasted fresh. Service was quick but not rushed. Prices felt fair for what you get.

The staff were so nice! They helped us call a taxi to get back to the train station after dinner. That little bit of extra care really stood out.

The little restaurant tucked away at the back is the real find. Had the lake fish, so fresh and simple. The view from the table was just this perfect slice of quiet water and trees. Staff were lovely, too.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable.

Been coming here for years, and the tiramisu is the reason. It's always just right—not too sweet, with that perfect coffee-soaked layer. I've tried others, but I keep coming back for this one.
