The chef remembers you. That alone makes it worth coming back. Food’s home-style, portions are big, and the price is right for Lausanne.

Stopped by for a quick apero with friends and honestly the tapas were the highlight. We grabbed a few plates to share and they were gone in minutes. The wine list is all local which I loved. Decor is that industrial-chic thing but not trying too hard. Staff actually took time to explain the options. Only thing is it got a bit loud later. Still, solid spot for a casual catch-up.

Prices run a bit high for what you get, but the tiramisu alone is worth it. Rich, creamy, exactly how it should be. Good spot if you're okay spending a little more.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a glass of their house red to go with the grilled octopus. The wine was a solid match, nothing fancy but did the job. Food came out fresh, though the place got a bit loud as it filled up. Still, a decent spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

It’s this nice nested cafe in Terrassière that offers quality food, a great atmosphere with a wonderful friendly service ! It’s the perfect spot whether you’re there for lunch or a coffee :))

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the rosti with chorizo and peppers. Portion was generous for the price, honestly didn’t expect that much food. Tasted solid, nothing fancy but satisfying. Staff didn’t mind our broken French, which was a plus. Place itself is cozy enough, nothing special but fine. Would go back if I’m in the area and hungry again.

Stopped by for a flat white and a quick bite. The coffee really stands out here, easily the best I’ve had around Servette. Beans taste fresh, not overly roasted. Food was fine too, though I didn’t try anything too heavy. Nice spot if you’re in the area and just want something simple and well-made.

The choux pastries are the real draw here—light, flavorful, and with creative options like caramel beurre salé. The coffee is strong and fruity, and they offer plant-based milks.

Tucked in the old town, food was fresh and tasty. Menu had English translations, which helped a lot. Portions decent for the price.

The courtyard is a proper little hideaway. Quiet, chill, easy to just sit there and forget the time. Double espresso and peach pie were simple, done right. Service was on it, friendly. Solid spot if you need a break.

Great flat white and the carrot cake was honestly a 6/5. Baristas were friendly too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable for hanging around.

Lost my wallet here and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. That kindness is why I keep coming back.

Came here for a quick lunch, got the daily plate. Ingredients tasted fresh, you can tell they use local stuff. Place was busy but service was fine. It's a bit pricier than your average café, but I don't mind paying a little extra knowing the cause behind it. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Lovely ambience and a nice cafe to drop by.

The cakes here are really something. I stopped by for a quiet afternoon pick-me-up and grabbed their chocolate tart. It was rich without being too sweet. Price is steep, no question, but the quality shows. The seating is comfortable too, which I appreciate. I didn't feel rushed at all. Just a nice spot to sit and enjoy something well-made.

The chocolate donut had that thick, gooey filling that actually stays put. Rich without being too sweet. Lakeside spot, but honestly I just focused on the pastry. Would grab another one if I'm in the area.

Came for a quick drink on the terrace and ended up staying longer than planned. Staff were super attentive even though every table was full. Didn’t try the food but the wine list had a nice local pick. Place has a good buzz without being too loud. Would go back for a proper meal next time.

The pizza came out in about ten minutes, still steaming. That alone made me happy. Solid beer list too, nothing fancy but well chosen. Prices felt fair for what you get. Place has that worn-in pub feel, no pretension. I'd sit at the window again just to watch the street while eating.

Stopped by on a weekday evening. Place is small, a bit worn, but that’s fine. Staff were friendly and quick. Music was decent, not too loud to talk over. Solid option if you’re around Cornavin and don’t want to overthink where to eat. Nothing fancy, but it works.

The terrace is pretty tight, honestly. We squeezed past people the whole time. Service took a while to get going, but once we ordered, things moved okay. The salsa verde had a real kick to it, which I liked. The peach dessert stood out too. Coffee was done properly, not bitter. Decent spot if you're not in a rush.

Stopped by for a quick drink after work. Bartender got to me fast, which I appreciated. Cocktail was solid, not too sweet. Place was busy but I still found a seat by the window. Good spot if you just want one drink and not a whole scene.

Coffee break with a view of Place du Molard — that’s the draw. Pastries were solid, nothing mind-blowing. Service friendly enough.

The volunteers are so nice here, really make you feel welcome. It's a cozy spot. But honestly, for what you pay, the portions are a bit on the small side. My plate felt a little empty.
