Been coming here for years, and the food always feels like home. That lamb stew with the soft potatoes? Just like my mum used to make. It’s the one thing I keep coming back for.

The beef cheek was the standout. Fork-tender, slow-cooked for hours. The rich, savoury sauce had a deep, almost sticky consistency that clung to the meat. A very satisfying main course.

Their almond croissants are the real deal. Flaky, not too sweet. Grabbed one with a coffee on my way to work. Quick and exactly what I needed.

The family running this place are so welcoming. Service was spot on, they really made us feel at home.

Perfect spot for a quick seaside bite. Grabbed a table outside, super relaxed vibe. Food came out fast, which was a plus. Had the fish and chips, decent portion. A bit pricey for what it is, but the view makes up for it. Solid lunch stop.

The gluten-free cake was a lovely treat. Sandwiches are generous and good value. I did have to wait a bit for a table, but the staff were very friendly about it. A comfortable spot for a quiet lunch.

The waffles were really good, crispy edges and fluffy inside. I liked the fresh fruit on top. The cafe itself has a nice, relaxed vibe - big windows and comfy seats, good for a quiet morning.

Been coming here for years. The sandwiches are always made fresh to order, never pre-made. That's the main thing for me. You can taste the quality in the ingredients. The cookies are still a nice treat too.

Small place, gets busy. They took my number and called when a table was free. The wait was fine, the food was pretty good. Had the eggs benedict, decent portion. Coffee was nice too.

Loved the chilled-out atmosphere here. The music was just right, not too loud. Perfect for catching up with a friend over a coffee and a croissant. We ended up staying way longer than planned.

The outdoor seating is a real plus, especially with the blankets provided. It made a cool evening much more comfortable. The cocktails were lovely, and the whole vibe was very relaxed. A nice spot to unwind.

Second seating area is much better. More space, clean and tidy. Good spot to chill with a coffee.

The staff here are lovely. They took the time to chat about the wine list and suggested a really nice pairing for my steak. It made the whole evening feel relaxed and well looked after. A bit of a wait for the main, but they were apologetic.

The carrot cake was a real treat - super moist with a generous layer of cream cheese frosting. The chocolate tart was a bit too rich for me, but still nice. A lovely spot for a sweet treat!

Popped in for the three-course special. Solid deal. The wine list had a few interesting options by the glass, which was a nice touch. Went with a red that paired well with the steak. Could do with a few more craft beers on the menu, but no major complaints.

Love the variety here, especially the rocky road. The seating area is a bit cramped though, but the natural light from the big windows is lovely.

Such a lovely spot for a coffee. The cakes are incredible, all fresh and homemade. That little dog-friendly touch makes it feel so warm.

The staff were so kind and thoughtful. My little one got a free cheese scone, which was a really nice gesture. It was a simple thing, but it made the whole lunch feel a bit more special.

The carnitas tacos were the highlight for me. The pork tasted so fresh, and the seasoning was just right – not too heavy. Really appreciated the simple, quality ingredients. A nice little spot for a satisfying meal.

Perfect for a quick bite before work. Got the breakfast plate, added black pudding. Food's fresh, good portion for the price. Free coffee with Ikea Family before 9am is a nice perk. Gets the job done.

Charlie and Lyla were great hosts. The music was spot-on, really added to the vibe. I had a great time with their house red, it was a surprisingly good match for the small plates we ordered. A fun night out.

Lovely garden for lunch on a sunny day. Plenty of seating. My only gripe? The portion size for the fish and chips felt a bit small for the price. Still, a nice spot to sit outside.

Loved the spot right on the marina. Tried a guest ale I hadn't seen before, which was a nice find. The place had a proper local buzz to it.

The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of fresh fruit and options. They were a bit slow to refill the hot items, though.

Sunday roast was solid. Meat was tender, gravy had good flavour. The cauliflower cheese stood out, really well done. Service was efficient, no fuss. Good option for a straightforward Sunday lunch.

Been coming here for years, and the sandwiches are always spot on. That's the main thing for me – you know exactly what you're getting. The tuna melt is my go-to, never disappoints. Just a reliable, solid lunch spot.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of cake this afternoon. It was so chilled, perfect for a break. The staff were really on it, even with the place being packed.

Breakfast was solid - loads of choice and everything cooked properly. The harbour view from the room was a nice touch.
