Stumbled upon this cosy spot in Shanklin. The wine list really impressed me - found a lovely local white that paired beautifully with my fish. Staff were friendly, food was tasty. A solid meal.

Booked for three nights, right on the Shanklin seafront which was ideal. Ate in the restaurant each evening. The portions were really generous for the price, which was a pleasant surprise. My partner and I both had the fish and chips one night – very filling. Good value for a seaside stay.

Came in on a whim. The grilled octopus was spot on - tender, smoky, with a nice char. Sat at the bar, good for solo dining. A bit pricey for the portion, but the flavour was there. Might pop by again if I'm in the area.

Been coming here with the family for years, dine-in and takeaway. The lamb tikka jalfrezi on my last visit was spot on – the lamb was tender and the sauce had a really nice depth of flavour.

Been coming here for years, and Janie’s service is always spot on. She’s got a real knack for making you feel looked after without being over the top. Just a genuine smile and good chat. That kind of consistency keeps me coming back.

Food was tasty and portions were generous. The staff were really friendly too, made it a nice spot for a casual catch-up.

Tapas menu is the standout. Octopus and mussels had good flavour. They brought them out at a steady pace, which worked well.

Came for a special dinner. The mussels were incredible – perfectly cooked, fantastic broth. Kitchen clearly knows what they're doing. Service was spot-on too. A really good night.

Service was spot on, staff were really friendly and attentive. Food came out quick, which was great. Felt relaxed the whole time.

The coconut rice is rich and creamy, with a really authentic coconut flavour. Best I've had outside Thailand.

The lamb shank was cooked perfectly, fell right off the bone. The red wine jus had a deep, savoury richness that really made the dish. BYOB kept the cost down, which was a nice touch.

The French onion soup was the star. So rich and comforting, with that deep, savoury flavour. Just the right amount of cheese on top. It was exactly what I needed.

First time at Five Guys. The hot fries with mayo dip were the standout. Light, salted, and with the skins on, just how I like them. Burgers were fresh and wrapped in foil. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Cosy spot, perfect for catching up with friends. We had a great time just chatting over some pasta. It's got that authentic feel, not too loud so you can actually hear each other. A bit on the pricier side, but the vibe was spot on for a relaxed evening.

Loved the calm, modern vibe here. The neutral palette and stylish decor made it feel really inviting for a quiet dinner. Just the right kind of atmosphere to unwind.

The food is what I come for. The presentation is beautiful, every plate looks like a little piece of art. You can taste the care in the cooking, especially in the way they balance the flavours. That’s the main thing for me.

The crab linguine was solid, fresh and well-priced. Service was quick and efficient, which I appreciate for a business lunch. The sharing platter for dessert was a nice touch. Good spot near the office.

Staff were helpful with a dietary request. Fish finger sandwich came out quickly, chips were decent. Good spot near the station, handy for a quick bite.

Got lucky with a walk-in on a busy Saturday. The fish pie was spot on, proper comfort food. Friendly staff too. Good local beer. A solid spot in Lymington.

The food was tasty, no complaints there. But honestly, it's a bit pricey for a casual catch-up. We had a great time, but my wallet felt it afterwards. More of a special occasion spot with friends.

Had a lovely dinner with friends. The food was really good, especially the steak. It is a bit pricey, but the vibe was perfect for a catch-up. We stayed for ages just chatting.

Been coming here for years, and the Goan fish curry is always spot on. Just the right level of spice, never overpowering. It's the one dish I keep coming back for.

The Korean chicken burger and dirty Texan BBQ fries were spot on, coffee was good too. Loved that they had blankets for the outdoor seating—made a breezy evening much cosier.

The French onion soup was really rich, and the monkfish tail had this great sauce. But honestly, what stuck with me was the room itself – the lighting was so soft and the chairs were actually comfortable for a long dinner. Just a nice, relaxed spot.

Focused menu, creative dishes. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Had a quick lunch there, food came out fast. Solid spot for a good bite.

First time trying their lamb shank. It was so tender it just fell apart, with this deep, rich flavour that wasn't too heavy. Really hit the spot on a chilly evening.

Keep coming back for the pies, they've got real character. The space itself is clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe that just works. It's the kind of place you can settle into.

We had an absolutely gorgeous meal. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue.Only staying in Climping for two nights, we chose the Oyster Catcher not knowing what we would be faced with. The pub is welcoming and inviting in smart but casual surroundings. The staff were attentive, friendly and polite without being pushy or insincere. Our meal was sensational, tasty Chicken Curry for him and Garlic Lamb Skewer for me. Fabulous! Thank you for making our celebration all the more memorable.
