The octopus panados were the move. Crispy outside, really tasty. Portion was big enough that I ended up taking half to go. Place was busy at lunch but the food came out quick. Solid spot if you want something filling without the fuss.

The octopus à lagareiro was pretty good—tender, crispy skin, decent portion. Stone-and-wood setting gives it a nice rustic feel. Just wish the service had been a bit quicker.

The cod was really well done — flaky, flavorful, no complaints there. Sat near the window and the light was nice, though the chairs are a bit stiff after an hour. Solid pick if you're wandering around the area and want something simple.

Cheese bread and cod fritters were solid, service quick too. Price felt fair for what you get. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The terrace is nice for a quick coffee and people-watching. I got the castanhas doces and they were good, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, the view makes up for it. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The grilled fish was decent and the portion felt fair for what we paid. Not a huge plate but enough. Place was busy with locals which is always a good sign. Service was friendly enough, nothing fancy. If you're hungry and want something authentic without breaking the bank, this works. Just don't expect anything fancy.

The cod with cornbread was the standout for me. Ordered a glass of something crisp to go with it, worked out nicely. Place had a decent buzz without being too loud. Service kept things moving, no complaints there. Would come back for that dish alone.

The steak was thick and cooked exactly how I asked. Garlic-heavy dishes are the way to go here if you like bold flavors. I’m still thinking about that first bite, honestly. Just wish the sides were a bit bigger, but the meat made up for it.

The lamb was the highlight for me — tender and properly seasoned. Portions are pretty generous too, so you definitely won't leave hungry. It's got that homemade feel, nothing fancy, but it works. I'd go back just for that dish again.

The chanfana was so tender, falling apart in that rich wine sauce. Portion size caught me off guard, in a good way. Proper local cooking.

The steak was decent—cooked properly, good flavor. Not fancy, but they clearly know what they're doing. I'd go back if I'm in the area. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but fine for a casual dinner.

Food’s solid, portions are generous. I’ve been a few times now and it holds up. Staff were friendly without hovering, which I appreciate. Got the grilled fish and it came out quick, still hot. Place gets busy around 7, so come earlier if you want a quiet table. Fair price for what you get.

The grilled octopus here was properly charred and tender, not rubbery like most places. Paid around 15€ for the dish, which felt fair for the portion. Service was quick even though the place got busy around 8pm. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Came here after a long day hiking and honestly the food hit the spot. Hearty portions, nothing fancy but exactly what you need. Staff even helped us fix a ticket thing which was super nice of them. Place gets busy but worth it.

The roast kid goat here is absolutely delicious, and the French toast for dessert is a must-try! The service is friendly and efficient, making for a great dining experience.

The service was excellent. Filomena and Sara were attentive, prompt, very personable. Food exceeded expectations. My mom and aunt were with us and they are elderly and handicapped. The dinning room is on the 2nd floor. Access only with winding and long staircase. No elevator. I find this very disappointing and demonstrates lack in caring for the older and disabled population.

The pizza here is actually pretty solid for a small mountain town. Had the Serrana and the dough was fresh, well made. Service was friendly too. Place gets busy around dinner time, so you might wait a bit, but it's worth it if you're craving pizza around here.

The veggie plate turned out to be fully vegan, which made things easy for us. Everything tasted fresh, cooked right there in front of us. Price felt fair for the portion too. Just wish they had a bit more seating, but that’s minor.

Decent place. Had a reservation and still waited a bit, but the roast veal was solid. Owner's honey wine is worth trying. Nothing fancy, but it works.

The scrambled eggs with alheira were spot on, creamy and rich. Sat outside by the fountain, which is a nice touch when the evening cools down. Their local wine list surprised me—good options by the glass, not just the usual tourist picks. Only hiccup: service gets a bit slow once the terrace fills up. Still, a solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Big portions, that's for sure. We went with the kids and everyone cleaned their plates. Staff kept checking on us, which was nice. Food was tasty, nothing fancy, but solid. Place gets busy around noon, so expect a bit of a wait. Still, for a quick family bite, it did the job.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed a burger with fries. Service was fast, no complaints there. Burger was solid, nothing crazy but it hit the spot. Fries were decent too. Prices are fair for what you get, especially around here. Probably one of the better spots in town if you're not looking for anything fancy.

Simple barbecue, done well. Portions are decent for the price, and the staff actually pays attention to you. Solid spot if you're craving grilled meat without breaking the bank.

Been coming here for years, still hits the spot. Food stays consistent, which is rare for me to say about any place. Staff actually remember you, that counts for something. Scenery's the real winner though, hard to beat that view while you eat. Not the cheapest, but you're paying for the whole package.

Stopped by for lunch and got the veal—proper tender, decent sides. Portion was fair for what we paid. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and the staff ended up giving us the best local tips. Super friendly and chill, made us wanna stay longer. ☕
