Love the vibe in the cellar bar! It's got these low ceilings and cosy little rooms, perfect for catching up with mates. The real ale from the barrel is a nice touch. Just be ready for it to get a bit loud when it's busy.

The interior is lovely, much more refined than your typical chain pub. The historic staircase and original fireplaces give it a proper, civilised feel. A nice spot for a quiet business lunch. The artwork collection is a good touch.

Been coming here for years, and the food’s always spot on. Had the green curry last night – fresh, authentic flavours. Paired it with a crisp Riesling from their list, which cut through the spice nicely. A solid choice for Thai.

The staff were really helpful when I mentioned my dietary restrictions. They took the time to go through the menu and suggest a couple of options that would work for me. It made ordering so much easier and less stressful.

The farfalle al salmone was lovely, and they suggested a crisp white wine that paired beautifully with it. Good portions for lunch.

Hadn't been out in ages. The steak was cooked just right, and the staff were brilliant. The real treat was the sommelier's suggestion for a red to go with it—spot on. Made the whole evening.

Always fresh food here. Staff are friendly and helpful. They suggested a nice local red to go with the lamb, which was spot on. A bit on the pricier side for the wine list, but the pairing made it work.

Huma was lovely. She made my favourite drink even though it was off-menu, which was a nice touch. The rest of the meal was pretty good, though the main course was a little on the small side.

The staff handled our big group really well, which was great. I did notice a couple of mix-ups with the orders, but they were very polite about sorting it out.

Imran and Aftab were so lovely and attentive. The food was spot on – the lamb biryani was perfectly spiced and the garlic naan was fresh from the tandoor. Really enjoyed the whole vibe here.

The set menu had a good few choices. We went for three courses, and honestly, for what you get, the price felt about right. The portions were decent, especially the main.

The fish and chips are spot on every time. Really crispy batter, fluffy chips. You can tell they care about getting it right.

Popped in for a toasted melt. Honestly, the best part was the staff being so lovely to our dog while we were outside. Gave him a little treat and everything. Made a simple lunch feel really nice.

The bottomless brunch here is fantastic! The service from Anna was exceptional, making the experience truly enjoyable.

Cosy spot, lovely staff. Came in for a drink and a light bite. The salad was really fresh, crisp greens and a lovely simple dressing. Just what I wanted. It did feel a bit chilly inside though, maybe bring a jumper.

Came on a Friday night, place was packed. Our mains arrived in maybe 15 minutes, still piping hot. For how busy it was, that's pretty good. Portions were decent for the price, no complaints there.

Popped in for the Bellybuster breakfast on a mate's tip. That plate was spot on. Properly cooked, everything just right. A solid feed to start the day.

The server was really on it. My cocktail was wrong and she spotted it before I even said anything. Had a new one in front of me in no time.

Nice, relaxed spot. The wine list is solid for a casual place, which made the afternoon even better.

Bart and Evie were brilliant with our little one. So patient and calm, even when he got a bit fussy. It made our lunch out actually relaxing for once.

The smash fries were the standout. Perfectly crispy with that seasoning. Fried pickles were good too. Just a solid side order situation.

A bit of a splurge for a burger, but worth it for a treat with mates. The large chips are massive, we ended up sharing one portion between three of us! 😄

Been coming here for years, and Lunga’s service is always spot on. He remembers what I like, never rushes you, and his suggestions are always solid. That consistency is why I keep coming back.

Service was spot on. Staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive without being overbearing. Even offered us Zamzam water, a thoughtful touch. Food was flavoursome and cooked just right. A solid experience.
