Fish and chips done right. The batter's light and crispy, and the cod is always fresh. Chips are spot on, never soggy. A proper classic.

The food is pretty good here, especially the pasta dishes. Prices felt fair for what you get, which is decent quality. Portions are fine, not huge but enough. A solid choice for a casual meal.

The service here is solid. Staff kept our drinks topped up without being overbearing. The waiter suggested the lamb dish, which was a good call. It's the kind of attentive but relaxed service that keeps me coming back.

The restaurant has a great ambiance, perfect for a night out. The lamb shank was to die for, and the overall experience was delightful.

A solid choice for a nicer dinner. The portions are generous and everything was cooked well. Service was attentive, though it did feel a bit formal for a casual weeknight. The lamb was particularly good.

The tagliatelle al salmone was lovely, packed with big pieces of salmon. The pasta itself was just a touch soft for my liking, though.

The upstairs area is so spacious and clean, and the view is lovely. Really comfortable for a relaxed meal.

Came here with the family on Christmas Day. The menu had some interesting new dishes, and I really appreciated the focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The roasted root vegetables were a standout - so vibrant and full of flavour. A lovely, relaxed meal.

The orange espresso martini was a standout. Really enjoyed it with the steak, the bitterness cut through the richness nicely. Cocktail menu had some other interesting choices too, went for a second round.

Booked for Sunday lunch, got a table in the bar. The turkey roast was spot on, really moist. Extra roast potatoes were a must, crispy outside and fluffy inside. Good portion sizes, left feeling nicely full. Parking was easy.

Decent value for money. The portions are generous and the food was pretty good. Really enjoyed the liver pate starter and the Kiev pizza.

Been coming here for years. That half pizza, half pasta deal is my go-to. The pasta's always al dente, and the pizza crust has a nice char. Never feel rushed to finish, which is a plus.

The £12.50 set menu is a solid deal. The main was a proper pork belly, crispy skin and tender meat. Portion was a touch small, but for the price it's hard to complain.

The staff were really accommodating when I asked about ingredient substitutions. Appreciated being able to customise for my dietary needs.

Been coming here for years. The linguine with tuna and prawns is always spot on, never disappoints. Generous portion too, leaves me happily full every time. That's why I keep coming back.

Chris was brilliant on a packed Saturday. We showed up without a booking, and he just made it work with such a friendly, calm vibe. Really appreciated that.

The full English breakfast was solid, and they had a nice spread of pastries too. Quiet spot for an early bite.

The chicken parmo was massive, took up the whole plate! Had to box half of it. Staff were lovely though, really nice vibe in there.

Came here with a few friends and the pizza was a hit! The base is so thin and crispy, just how I like it. Portions are big, we ended up sharing a couple and still had leftovers. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

The manager was so kind when my friend wasn't feeling well. They handled everything calmly and even packed up our food for us. Really appreciated that.

Been coming here for years, the tikkas never disappoint. The chicken is always juicy, and the lamb has that perfect char without being dry. Honestly, it's the one thing I can always count on.

Popped in for the Thursday lunch special. The pizza base was spot on, just the right texture. Service was quick and friendly, even with the lunch rush. A really comfortable spot for a solo bite.

The Sunday curry special is really good. Quick service, got my order in under 10 minutes. Perfect for a fast lunch break.

The room was spotless and comfy, had everything you need. The tea and coffee stuff was a nice touch. Breakfast was really good, loads to choose from.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are consistently spot on, especially the chips fried in beef dripping.

Got a steak dinner with wine using a Groupon. Solid deal for a quick bite. Steak was decent, came out fast which is what I needed. Good for a no-fuss lunch.

Stopped in for a quick bite. They had a fire going which was nice on a cold day. Staff were really chill and even gave our dogs a few treats. 👍

Been coming here for years. Always a solid choice for a pint. The landlord really knows his stuff, can tell you about every beer on tap. Good selection of local ales.

The happy hour deal is a steal! Portions are decent, not huge, but honestly perfect for sharing with a friend. Everything came out super hot and tasted great. Just the spot for a casual catch-up.
