I used to make ice cream, so I'm picky. Their maple walnut is a winner. You can tell from the texture it's got a good milk fat content. The flavor is balanced, not overwhelming at all. Really solid scoop.

The garlic knots were a surprise. They're soft, with a nice pull, and the garlic butter soaks in just right. Not too greasy. Way better than I thought they'd be.

Been coming here for years, and Ian the sommelier is a big part of why. His wine picks just click with the food. You can tell he really knows his stuff and cares. It’s that consistent, thoughtful touch that keeps me coming back.

The curry puffs are incredible. Seriously, don't skip them. The pastry is so flaky and the filling has this perfect warmth. The crab rangoons were the best I've ever had, too. Just crispy, creamy goodness.

Nice spot on the deck for watching the boats. The harbor view at sunset is pretty good. A pleasant place to have a drink outside. The food was fine, nothing special, but the setting makes it worthwhile.

Grabbed a quick breakfast here with a friend before class. The avocado toast was simple but hit the spot, and the coffee was decent. Prices are fair for the neighborhood. Good for a casual catch-up when you don't want anything fancy.

The BBQ platter for two is a solid choice. The brisket and pulled pork were good, and the burnt ends had a nice char. The cornbread was a bit dry, but the mac and cheese was creamy. A comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

The grilled mahi-mahi tacos were the star. Fish was fresh and flaky, the mango salsa added a nice sweet kick. Could've used a bit more of that cilantro crema though. Solid choice by the water.

Been coming here for years. The fish is always super fresh, straight from the market next door. That's why I keep coming back.

Been here a few times. It's a big space, feels comfortable. Good for a casual dinner or if you've got a bigger group. The brick walls give it a nice, simple vibe.

The shrimp scampi was a nice find. The sauce was fresh, and the shrimp were surprisingly large. A good choice if you're looking for something that's not fried.

The bike theme and shuffleboard are fun, but honestly I'm just here for the food. The casual vibe is nice, but it's the flavors that keep me coming back.

The sea salt caramel chip ice cream is the standout. You can tell it's homemade - rich, creamy, and not overly sweet. It's the one thing I'd come back for.

Gluten-free fish and chips, cooked in a dedicated fryer. That's the main reason I go. The batter was light and crisp. It's a solid, reliable option when I'm in the area and need a safe meal.

The lunch specials here are a great deal. I went before 3 PM and the portion was so generous, I had a whole box of leftovers for dinner. The staff was really friendly and didn't rush me at all.

I'm in town for work and always stop by for lunch. They're super flexible with custom orders, which is great. The Tom Yum soup is my go-to.

What a gem in downtown Westerly! The combination of great food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere makes this restaurant a must-visit.

The seasoned home fries with caramelized onions are my go-to. Perfect for a quick lunch. They're tender with a nice crunch, just how I like them. Gets me in and out fast.

The Cobb salad was huge with lots of chicken and avocado. Staff was really friendly, which made for a nice, relaxed lunch.

Loved the deck overlooking the salt marsh. The sunset view was gorgeous. But honestly, for the price of the entrees, I was expecting a bit more food on the plate. The portion size felt a little small.

Karen and Jack make you feel so welcome. It's like hanging out in a friend's backyard.

The General Stanton Inn is a hidden gem with a rich history and a beautifully restored atmosphere. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
