Stumbled upon this place during a walk. The menu's got a lot to choose from, which was nice. Everything we had tasted properly homemade. The scones were particularly decent. It did get a bit busy later on, but a solid spot for a quiet coffee.

The staff were very friendly and found us a high chair for our baby. The food was pretty good, a decent meal overall. It was a bit noisy in the dining room, but that's to be expected with a family place.

The Portuguese tarts here are spot on. The pastry is flaky, and the custard filling has that perfect, slightly caramelised top. A really nice little treat with a coffee. Staff are always polite, makes it a comfortable spot to pop in on your own.

Generous portions, especially the jacket potatoes. My steak was cooked just right, and the house red was a solid match for it. Good value for the amount you get.

The coffee is pretty good here, and I like the choice of beans. It's a comfortable spot to work, with plenty of charging points. It can get a bit busy, but that's fine.

Kids menu has mini versions of the adult meals. Much better than the usual stuff. Babychinos are a winner.

Had a lovely breakfast here. The portions are generous and the food is consistently good. The staff are very friendly, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. It’s a cozy spot, perfect for a quiet morning.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its great food and efficient service. Liz made sure we had everything we needed during our visit.

The rustic decor is lovely, and they have a great selection of local wines by the glass. A very relaxed spot for a long lunch.

The coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but the beans had a nice nutty flavour. I'd probably ask for an extra shot next time.

The pistachio croissant was the star for me. Perfectly flaky, with a generous, not-too-sweet filling. The lemon drizzle cake was good, moist and tangy. Good to see unsweetened soya milk on offer too.

The strawberry milkshake was really good. I liked that the booth seats were comfortable and cushioned, made it easy to just sit back and relax for a while. A nice, simple spot.

The service was pretty good. Staff were very respectful and accommodating, especially for guests with specific needs. Made for a welcoming atmosphere. A solid spot if you're looking for that.

The food here is always solid, never disappoints. Had the grilled salmon again last night, cooked just right.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Food's decent, service is fast and friendly.

The place is spotless, even the loos have a changing table. Music was nice and low. Just a really well-kept spot, you can tell they care about the details.

The food was delicious, with perfect flavors and beautifully cooked dishes. The chef even sent over an amuse-bouche that was stunning!

Nice spot for a quiet chat. The seating is comfortable and the vibe is pretty relaxed. It's not too loud, which is a plus these days. A decent place for a low-key meal.

As a coeliac, I really appreciated the clear allergen labels. The gluten-free options were solid - even the bottomless fries were safe! Staff double-checked everything for me, which put my mind at ease.

I really appreciate that they offer a crispy bacon swap for the Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was light, and the eggs were perfectly poached. The pancake batter also tasted freshly made, not from a mix. A nice spot for a mindful breakfast.

The chicken curry and chips were lovely. The seating was a bit cramped, but the curry sauce had a really nice, mild flavour.

Stepped in and instantly felt like I was in a Viennese cafe. The dark wood, those classic chairs, and the soft lighting just clicked. Had a Melange coffee, which was spot on. A lovely spot to unwind.

Great spot in Cardiff Bay. Staff were really on it and found us a table even though we hadn't booked. The wine list had some nice local options too.

Had an excellent meal, as usual. The rump steak was cooked to perfection and my server, Elise, got the order spot on. Food was reasonably price and I got a loyalty stamp. Three more and I get a free main meal! The place was clean, and the salad bar well stocked. Even though it was very busy, the service didn't feel rushed and Elise was attentive but not too much so.

Stayed a few nights for work. The room was snug and comfortable, nice bedding. Breakfast was good, plenty of parking. The house red by the glass was surprisingly decent, a proper start to the day.

The staff were just so lovely. They noticed my water was low before I did, and checked in without being overbearing. That kind of attentive service is a real treat. Made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy.

Great beer garden out the back, really comes into its own on a sunny afternoon. Solid choice of local ales. Staff are a friendly bunch, which makes a difference. A proper local.

Nice, bustling pub vibe. Staff were really friendly and kept the tables cleared even when it was packed. It did get super busy, so service slowed down a bit, but that's understandable on a Friday night.
