The owner’s so welcoming—it really made the evening. We felt looked after without it being fussy. Just a nice, relaxed vibe.

The Mexican burger here has a good kick to it. The patty was juicy and the spice level was just right, not overpowering. That's what I came for. Portions are decent.

The vegan fish and chips is a really nice dish. The banana blossom is a clever idea, and the booth seating was comfy.

Nick the owner is so lovely, really makes you feel at home. The food is fresh and you can tell it's made with care. Perfect spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

The fish was cooked fresh, batter was light and crisp. Chips were golden and fluffy. Mushy peas were a nice touch. That’s pretty much it.

Stopped by with my family, four of us. Every small plate was a hit. Really liked the presentation. Hard to pick a favourite.

Stumbled upon this cafe just off the high street. The coffee and homemade cakes are very reasonably priced. Soup and coffee were served properly hot, which I appreciate. Good spot for a quick, no-fuss lunch.

Great find on holiday. Owners were super helpful, even called a taxi for us.

Popped in for the Sunday carvery. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Loads of veg options, and those roast potatoes were the highlight - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Solid choice for a lazy weekend lunch.

A lovely spot near the beach. The festive decor was a nice touch. Food was solid, especially the savoury scones. My only gripe was the wine list felt a bit limited for the menu. Could have used a few more interesting reds by the glass.

Been coming here for years, it's our local. The real ales are always spot on, a proper selection. Nice and quiet on a Tuesday afternoon, just how we like it. A proper village pub.

Nice spot by the river, the viaduct view is lovely on a sunny day. Had a pint and the ploughman's lunch. The portion was decent for the price, felt like a proper pub meal.

Staff were lovely, really friendly. The timing between courses was spot on. Had a lovely wine and the food was tremendous. We'll be back.

Got a table as a walk-in on a busy Friday, which was nice. Service was attentive throughout. The menu has some interesting topping choices – I went for the truffle mushroom pizza. It was pretty good, though the base was a touch softer than I'd prefer. A decent spot.

The delivery is consistently quick and reliable, which is a real plus. Staff are pleasant and helpful too. The food is decent, though the portions can feel a bit small for the price.

The private room was handy for our group. Menu had a lot of options, which helped as everyone wanted something different. The lamb shank was the standout for me, really tender and fell off the bone.

The risotto was spot on, and the seafood linguine had a nice kick. But the real star was the house red - a surprisingly smooth Sangiovese that paired beautifully with both dishes. Makes a difference when the wine list isn't an afterthought.

Loved the vibe here! The bright colonial decor with those Himalayan touches made it feel really special. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with friends. The space is so calm and welcoming, just what we needed for a long gossip session.

As a coeliac, I was genuinely impressed by the gluten-free menu here. So many choices! The tables are a bit snug, but the food portions are generous and everything tasted spot on. A really nice find.

Been coming here for years, and it's always consistent. Their special rice is the star - fragrant, fluffy, and just the right amount of spice. Still the top spot for Indian food around here.

Grabbed the chicken burger meal deal for a quick lunch. The chicken was juicy, and the fries weren't greasy. The real game-changer was the server's suggestion to pair it with a crisp lager – cut right through the richness. That peri peri salt is a must. Solid spot.

Duck sekuwa was the highlight. Quick service for a lunchtime bite. Menu has lots of Nepalese dishes you don't see everywhere. Solid option if you're after something different.

Been coming here for years. The garlic chilli paneer is always spot on, just the right amount of heat.

Breakfast for four came to under £30, drinks included. Everything was freshly cooked, which was nice.

First time here for lunch and I'm already thinking about coming back. The mussels were so fresh, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Staff were really friendly too.
