Loved the deck overlooking the salt marsh. The sunset view was gorgeous. But honestly, for the price of the entrees, I was expecting a bit more food on the plate. The portion size felt a little small.

Service was quick and friendly. They handled my vegan request easily.

Fried shrimp and onion rings are my go-to quick lunch. Fish tacos are solid too. Everything comes out fast, perfect for a 30-minute break. Only thing is the onion rings could be a bit crispier.

Typical diner, classic vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by the gluten-free bread. For the portion size, the prices are actually pretty decent. I got a full sandwich and a side for under $15.

Grabbed the quinoa breakfast bowl here. It's hearty and packed with flavor, really hit the spot. Service was quick, no fuss. The coffee was a solid, robust pour that paired nicely with the earthy notes in the bowl. Good spot for a fast, satisfying bite.

The portions are huge for Newport, and the quality is solid. I was surprised by the prices. A glass of their house red was a great match for the steak.

Karen and Jack make you feel so welcome. It's like hanging out in a friend's backyard.

Service was on point. Prime rib done just right, and they still use paper menus which is nice. Felt comfortable the whole time.

Our server was super helpful navigating the gluten-free menu. The scallop crudo was a perfect start.

Good spot for lunch. The bowls and açaí bowls are solid, and the plantains are great. Food holds up well for delivery, too.

The General Stanton Inn is a hidden gem with a rich history and a beautifully restored atmosphere. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
