Been coming here for years. Always appreciate how they keep the place feeling open, even when it's packed.

Really liked the vibe here, super cosy. The new server was great, handled everything smoothly. Food was nice but honestly a bit pricey for the portion sizes.

The share platter was a nice start, but the real star was the steak fillet special. Cooked exactly as requested, and the waiter took a moment to explain the cut and sourcing. That attention to detail is appreciated.

Grilled fish here is always fresh. Had it again last night, skin was crispy and the flesh just flaked apart. A solid choice on their menu.

First time here and the food really stood out. The pad thai had that perfect balance of sweet and sour, with just the right amount of crunch from the peanuts. Felt like a proper taste of Bangkok. Prices are very fair for what you get.

Been here a few times. The mixed grill platter is huge, easily feeds two. Lamb chops were spot on, juicy and well-seasoned. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

The waterfront view alone was worth it. Food was solid, service friendly. A bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for that spot.

Had the afternoon tea here. The scones were really good, probably the best I've had in a while. The whole place has a nice, old-fashioned charm to it. A decent spot for a quiet catch-up.

Portions are generous, the food is prepared with care. I had the full English breakfast, and it was very tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed and comfortable meal.

Booked a table early after hearing their specials change often. The seasonal veg plate was a standout - simple but with so much flavour. Staff were really helpful explaining the dishes. A couple of the specials were gone by the time we ordered, so glad we got in when we did!

Great spot for exploring Cheddar, and the free parking out back is a huge help. Just don't forget to register your car at the front desk. Made popping in for lunch after a walk really easy.

Old management's back. Food's way better now. Had the pasta, solid. Service was quick too.

The set menu had some really tasty choices. The staff also surprised us with a little birthday treat, which was a nice touch!

Busy Saturday night, but they squeezed us in. Staff were really friendly. Food was lovely, especially the lamb shank. It was pretty loud with the crowd, but we could still chat. Good spot for a casual dinner.

Decent pub, the big windows are nice for watching the street. Went upstairs to the loo and noticed some cool art on the walls. Portions are generous for the price, my fish and chips was a proper plateful.

The steak was cooked exactly as I asked, medium-rare. Juicy inside with a proper sear on the outside. The peppercorn sauce had a good kick to it, not too creamy. The chips were crispy. That's what I came for.

Found this place by chance and it's dog-friendly, which was perfect. The goat cheese starter was really something else. Just a lovely little spot for a relaxed meal.

Such a cosy spot, feels like a dinner party at a friend's place! The decor is so eclectic and the welcome was really warm. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with the girls. We ended up chatting for hours.

Easy to get in with a wheelchair. Flat floor, found a table without fuss. Food is standard pub grub, decent portions.

The wood pigeon starter was gorgeous, and the hake and steak mains were fabulous. The chocolate marquise dessert was beautiful. Some of the best food we've had in a long time.

Such a dog-friendly spot! The staff are always so sweet to my pup, makes it a perfect place to meet friends.

Been coming here for years, and that open fire is the main reason. It’s always roaring, perfect for a pint on a cold evening. Just feels like the proper, cozy pub experience you don’t get everywhere anymore.

Stumbled upon this place with my Yorkie in tow. They didn't just allow him, they were genuinely sweet about it. The pizza was spot on, and honestly, the prices didn't make me wince. A proper find.

The decor is lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I really appreciated how comfortable the chairs were - you can settle in for a nice, long meal without feeling rushed at all. A very pleasant spot.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back. Had the lamb again last night - just as good as the first time. Nice to know you can rely on a place.

Ivy and Megan provided outstanding service during our anniversary brunch. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was wonderful, making it a perfect celebration.

The name's new but the soul's the same. Still that cosy, tucked-away pub feel. Just love the warm glow from the old lamps in the corner.

The staff are always so friendly and professional here. It's a small thing, but they really make you feel looked after. The service is what keeps me coming back.

Clean, modern spot with long tables. The pizza was solid, thin crust with good toppings. Service was quick, which works for a business lunch. A bit pricey for what it is, but convenient location.

Great spot for a quick bite. Curry is fresh and the staff are friendly. Perfect for a speedy lunch.
