Charcuterie board was insane. The quince jelly? Unreal. Earl Grey Champagne cocktail too. Staff knew their stuff. That's it.

Solid spot for a game. Sam’s a gem—really knew his stuff when I asked about a whiskey to go with the wings. The beer list is decent, though I wish they had a few more local craft options on tap. Screens everywhere, so you won’t miss a play.

The seitan-based veggie menu is a real find. Tried the seitan burger and it was spot on.

Lovely spot to stop after a walk in the Mendip Hills. The local beer selection was a nice find.

Been staying here for years. It's a handy spot for a quick stroll into town, which is why I keep coming back. The rooms are nicely done up, comfortable without being fussy. Managers are always helpful.

The crab on sourdough was generous, with both white and brown meat. The pork terrine was nicely balanced too.

Love the concept of a Thai kitchen in a proper pub. The green curry had real depth, and the rotating cask ales meant I could pair it with a crisp, hoppy pint. Staff were happy to adjust the spice level. A solid spot for a flavourful meal with a proper drink.

Great spot near the castle. The staff really knew their stuff, took time to walk us through the drinks. Grilled cheese with a wine slushy was just right. A bit pricey, but a nice treat.

Irina was amazing! Our stag do meal at Hole in the Wall was fantastic, with timely food service and attentive staff. Highly recommend!

Ordering on the app was a breeze. The wine list is decent and our food came out quickly. Staff were friendly.

Stayed open late for a post-work pint. The atmosphere was decent for that hour, though the beer selection is pretty standard. Handy spot if you're finishing up nearby.

Sunday roast. Yorkshire pudding was massive. Food was hearty, full of flavour. Cozy spot for a traditional pub lunch. Solid.

The Sunday roast pork was spot on, and the portion was huge for one course. The place itself is really cosy, with these big wooden tables and low lighting. It just felt like a proper, relaxed Sunday.

Nice local pub, the owners are lovely. But I'm a bit torn on the value. Had the fish and chips, it was £16.50. Tasted fine, but the portion felt a bit on the small side for the price, you know?

Nice, relaxed pub for catching up. The space is big and clean, decor's pleasant. Service was quick, which I appreciate. Had a decent pale ale on tap that went well with the atmosphere. Coffee refills are free, a nice touch. Could use a few more interesting craft options on the drinks menu though.

Came in for a quick pint, ended up staying ages. Love how the place is split into different little rooms, each with its own old fireplace or snug. Feels like a proper local, not some chain. Good for a big group, but also nice to just find a quiet corner.

I was impressed by the quality of the food and the attentive service at The Ashton. The lamb rump was particularly mouth-watering, and I can't wait to return for another meal!

The jibox has a huge selection of songs, which was a fun touch. The bar staff were really friendly and made for a nice evening out. Drinks were decent, though the music did get a bit loud later on.

Loved the Queen Victoria theme here! The decor is so charming, really gives the place its own character. Spotted so many little details in the wallpaper and old portraits. Staff were lovely too.

Lunch spot near the office. Their pizza is authentic, thin crust and good ingredients. Had a Peroni with it. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Solid for a business lunch.

Nice, cosy pub with a good range of real ales. The wood-panelled interior feels warm and classic. Had a decent ploughman's lunch – the cheese was fine, though the bread was a little dry. A solid spot for a quiet pint.

The pub garden is lovely and spacious, plenty of seating. The barman was really friendly too.

A proper cosy pub, just what I was after. Loved the local ales on tap, really solid selection. The whole place just feels welcoming and unpretentious, perfect for a quiet pint.

Been coming here for years, always a reliable pint in the centre.

The White Horse is lovely decorated, bright, spacious and comfortable. The staff are welcoming, friendly and polite. The service is good as food arrived in the right frame time from sitting downThe food we had which were all different was lovely and very enjoyable. Will definitely be going again.
