The grilled fish was spot on, and the wine list had some nice options. Staff were really good at checking in without hovering, which was perfect for catching up with friends. Made for a relaxed evening.

The decor here is so inviting, really cosy. Staff handled our big group without a fuss, still found time for a quick chat. Felt relaxed the whole time.

Popped in for a coffee and cake deal during a Lake District walk. The cafe had these lovely big windows, so you could just sit and watch the world go by with your drink. Really nice spot to take a break.

The lamb was so tender, and the wine pairing suggested by the server really brought out its flavour. The red cabbage side was a standout too.

First time trying shatkora lamb here, and it was spot on. The meat was so tender and fell right off the bone. Really enjoyed that unique, slightly bitter citrus flavour from the shatkora. A proper taste of something different.

Been coming here for years, and Nina always remembers my usual order. That kind of consistent, friendly service is what keeps me coming back.

The lamb shank was the standout. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just fell off the bone. Rich, deep flavour from the red wine sauce, and the mash underneath soaked it all up perfectly. A proper, hearty dish.

Always a solid choice in town. The bread is fresh, you can smell it baking. The fillings are so pretty, it feels like a little treat just looking at them.

A real find for breakfast! The scrambled eggs were so creamy, and they even brought an extra sausage for my dog. Perfect start to the day with my pup.

The English breakfast was pretty good, especially the sausage. My wife enjoyed her eggs Royale, the sauce was nice. A decent spot for a weekend brunch, though the coffee was just fine.

Perfect for a quick bite. The yellow curry and Pad Si Ew are spot on, and they're dog-friendly too.

Been coming here for years. Their green curry is the real deal, just like I remember from Thailand. Not many places get it right over here. A bit pricey, but you can taste the quality.

Came for a birthday with a big group. The staff were so nice about it, really patient with all our separate orders and moving tables around. Made it easy to just enjoy the meal.

Been coming here for years. Coffee's always solid, and I like the window seats. It's a nice place to just sit and unwind for a bit. Staff are friendly, which helps.

I'm always looking for fresh ingredients. The fish in the fish and chips was really fresh and flaky, which I appreciated. The batter was crispy too. A good spot for a classic meal.

The staff were polite and attentive, which was nice. The outdoor terrace overlooking the garden centre is a pleasant spot.

Booked early, got the 10% discount. Garlic bread and pizza came out piping hot. Perfect for a quick bite. Service was friendly, didn't hover. Got in and out fast.

Ordered the salmon tikka off-menu. Divine. Lamb balti was solid too. Delivery guy was right on time.

The short rib was so tender, just fell apart. And that smash burger had a great crust on it. Drinks were good too, a solid list. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

Loved the chicken pakora starter! The curries were really flavourful too, and the whole meal was very reasonably priced.

Nice little spot. The staff were friendly and they don't take reservations, but they called us when a table was ready. It worked out fine for a casual dinner. The atmosphere is pretty cozy.
