Been coming here for a while now and the food stays solid every single time. Portions are decent for what you pay, never felt ripped off. Not the fanciest spot but honestly that's part of the charm. If you want something reliable without breaking the bank, this is it. Just wish they'd speed up the service a bit on busy nights.

Stopped here for dinner on the way through. The bobotie springrolls were decent, different twist. My steak came out exactly medium-rare which is rare for me to get right. Portion size was fair for the price, didn't feel ripped off. Place had a relaxed feel, nothing fancy but comfortable. Solid stop if you're in the area and want something proper without the fuss.

Been coming here for a while now. Menu's got plenty of options and the prices stay fair. Staff are friendly, plus the kids' play area means we can actually chill while the little ones run around.

Renovated spot looks great, that terrace over the dam is a solid view. Watched the rain come in while eating, mussels were fresh and the fish and chips were properly crispy. Good quick stop.

Charlton knew the menu inside out and steered us right — calamari starter was spot on, and that ice cream dessert didn’t stand a chance. Solid service.

The burger was properly juicy and worth every rand. Fries were decent too. Nice vibe inside, nothing fancy but comfortable.

The fish was the standout for me — really fresh and well cooked. Service was friendly too. Pizza crust was a bit soft for my liking, but I'd still go back for the seafood.

Came for lunch with the kids. They set up a table and blankets outside, which was nice. Food was solid, dessert especially. Kids ran around while we ate. Wines were a bit meh, but the whole picnic vibe made up for it.

Solid flat white and the croissant with cheese and jam was decent. Courtyard seating is a nice touch. Owner friendly enough. Breakfast menu covers the basics well.

The outdoor terrace is lovely, tucked among the trees. Staff kept things moving smoothly. Nice spot for a quiet glass of wine while the kids burn off energy.

The outdoor seating area is really lovely at night, lights and all. Steak was cooked properly too. Just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable, my back was starting to feel it by the end.

Came for lunch without a booking, they still sorted us out quickly. Chicken caesar and salmon poke were solid, decent portions. Cocktails fine, nothing fancy. Good spot if you want to avoid the tourist crowds.

We had the beef fillet and it was cooked exactly how I asked. The view is lovely, no complaints there. Bradley looked after us well, friendly without hovering. Only thing is the chairs are a bit close together, but that's minor. Enjoyed the meal, would come back if I'm in the area again.

Solid food, good wine list. Daily specials board had me stuck for ages. Zandre looked after us well. Prices fair for Paarl.

The interior is really nice, those big windows make it feel open and bright. Pizza was tasty, no complaints there. We used the private area for a small gathering and it was a bit tight, but fine for what we needed. Getting an Uber afterwards was easy, which I always appreciate. Would come back if I'm in the area.

We popped in for Mother’s Day dinner and honestly, the service stood out the most. The manager actually helped seat us himself, which was a nice touch. Our server Yvonne was super attentive even though the place was packed. Genuinely friendly without hovering. Only downside, we waited a bit for our mains, but the staff made up for it.

Came for the food, stayed for the beer. Local brews were proper. Staff friendly enough, place had a good vibe. Didn't try everything on the menu but what we had was solid. Maybe a bit busy but that's on us for going at peak time.

The fresh-pressed juices were the highlight—really flavorful. Service took a while when I asked about milk alternatives, but the drinks made up for it.

Stopped by for a takeaway pizza the other night. Staff were friendly, didn't have to wait long at all. Got the pepperoni, crust was decent, cheese was good. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a quick bite without fuss. Not fancy, but it does the job.

Came here on a Thursday for the steak special and honestly the place surprised me. The carpets and curtains give it this proper upscale vibe, chairs are actually comfortable too. Food was decent for the price, nothing mind-blowing but the lunch menu is pretty big. Staff knew their stuff when I asked about the specials. Would sit by the window next time, that corner spot near the kitchen gets a bit noisy.

The Tom Yum here actually tastes like the real deal from Thailand. Walked in without a booking and they still looked after me properly.

Cozy spot, fireplace was nice on a chilly day. Staff actually seemed happy to see us. Carrot cake was the highlight—moist, not too sweet. Coffee's decent too. Place is small though, felt a bit cramped when it filled up. Fine for a quick stop.

Lamb shank was properly good, fell right off the bone. Place has this cozy old-school vibe, easy to chill with friends. Prices are a bit steep but you can tell the ingredients are quality.

The fish cakes were honestly the star of my meal — crispy outside, soft inside. Chicken phyllo pie was decent too, though I wish there was more filling. Roasted veggies surprised me, really well done. Prices felt fair for what you get. Cozy little spot, nothing fancy but comfortable.

The butter chicken was proper comfort food, really rich and full of flavour. Churros were a nice way to finish too. Beer was good but honestly the food stole the show.

The venison was really good—cooked just right. Staff were friendly too. Only thing, the fireplace smell kinda stuck to my clothes the whole evening.

The langoustine was the highlight for me — butter poached and then grilled, really well done. I did the tasting menu and honestly the plating was beautiful, each course looked like something you'd see in a food magazine. The team explained everything properly too, not just rushed through it. Only thing is the room felt a bit warm by the end, but that's minor.

Stopped by for dinner while staying nearby. It's inside a hotel but open to anyone. There was a live singer, which made the vibe pretty chill. Food came out fresh and tasted good. Prices felt fair for what you get. Staff were friendly enough. Solid spot if you're in the area.
