As an away fan, the staff wearing local team shirts was a nice touch. The food was authentic, but the portions felt a bit small for the price.

Christmas lunch for 18 of us. The staff were really on it, everything came out hot, even the plates were warmed. The roast was lovely, the veggies still had a nice bite to them.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It really makes a difference when you're trying to enjoy a quiet, healthy meal. They were happy to answer all my questions about the ingredients in the salad dressing.

The breakfast ingredients tasted so fresh, especially the avocado and tomatoes. Good to know they source locally.

Picked up a birthday cake for my dad. They had it ready right on time. Looked spot-on, exactly what I asked for. Tasted really good too. The guy at the counter was very helpful. Made the whole thing easy.

Been coming here for years with our dog, and the staff are always so welcoming. It's a nice spot for a family meal.

The new Thai menu is a solid addition. Had the green curry on a Friday night - decent flavour, good portion. Live music was a bit loud for conversation, but overall a practical option if you're in the area.

The three-course lunch was lovely. The dining room is so bright and airy, with big windows and those lovely high ceilings. It just feels like a really pleasant, relaxed space to enjoy a meal.

A lovely, cosy spot in the centre of town. The bartender was so friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole visit feel very relaxed. The atmosphere was just right for a quiet drink.

The private booths are nice for a quiet chat. I really noticed how fresh the ingredients were in my salad, everything tasted crisp and clean. A nice spot for a healthy, relaxed meal.

I've been coming here for years and love how they've expanded the menu. Their brunch is my go-to – the avocado toast is always fresh, with perfectly ripe avocado and a nice sprinkle of seeds. The coffee is reliably good too. A solid spot for a healthy, satisfying meal.

Love that they do breakfast all day! The medium breakfast is a solid deal, especially with the half-price drinks. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

Visited on Easter Sunday. The full Welsh breakfast was cooked by a volunteer and was very good. Friendly, community atmosphere.

Lovely little cafe, very cosy. The breakfast burger was full of flavour and cooked just right. I appreciated the comfortable booth seating, it made for a relaxed start to the day.

Sunday roast never disappoints. The beef is always tender.

Decent selection of beers on tap, and the prices are fair. The house red was a surprisingly good match with the steak and ale pie.

The daily lunch special is the only reason I come. Soup, main, dessert, and a drink for a tenner. The food tastes like it's made fresh that morning, nothing fancy, just proper. The stew today was spot on.

Always busy, but my fish and chips arrived super quick and steaming hot. That's the main thing, right? A solid choice when you just want the classic done reliably.

Love that they're dog-friendly! My pup was so happy. The classic pub vibe is spot on. I had the fish and chips - crispy batter, proper chips. Just what you need on a lazy afternoon.

Popped in for a quiet pint after work. The Guinness was spot on, really well poured. Place is clean and cosy, perfect for a solo drink. No fuss, just what I needed.

The steak and ale pie was spot on - the pastry was so light and buttery. I liked the high ceilings and the big windows, it just felt really spacious and calm. A good place to just sit and enjoy a meal.
