Owner was lovely, really took time to help us pick. Food was tasty and looked nice on the plate. Had the grilled sea bass and the lamb stew, both were solid. A bit on the pricier side, but the service made it feel okay.

A nice breakfast spot. Their house blend coffee was a standout, went perfectly with the eggs. Service was quick and friendly.

The pizza is a good size and tasty. We usually go on a Sunday afternoon when it's quieter, and try to get a window seat.

The team here are so good with kids. They brought over some crayons and paper without us even asking, and my little one was happy the whole time. Makes a big difference when you're trying to have a meal.

Tried their fondue evening for the first time. The cheese pot was huge, way more than we could finish! Cosy spot, felt like a proper treat.

A wonderful pub restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff were very sincere and helpful. It was definitely service with smiles. The food was excellent and hot! The sirloin steak was cooked as requested and is certainly recommended. The real ale was well kept and tasted superb. We will be back.

The staff were really attentive. I was waiting outside for a friend and someone came to check if I was okay, which was a nice gesture. It’s a small thing but made me feel properly looked after.

Birthday dinner for a big group. Staff handled it really well, no stress at all. Food was great.

The steak was cooked just right, medium-rare as I asked. The triple-cooked chips were a nice touch. What I really appreciated was the booth seating – it felt private and comfortable, which made the whole meal very relaxing.

The food was solid, and they happily tweaked the dessert. The wine list had some nice options to go with it.

Niranjan and Lynne were great. Really friendly, quick with everything. Made it a nice, easy lunch.

Any time my family are at Cheshire oaks, Ed's gets a visit, it's simple , does what it says on the tin.

The Sunday buffet was a hit with our group. Everything felt freshly made, and the staff were really attentive. Even our vegetarian friend had plenty of options.

The cheese burger was really good. The patty tasted fresh, not greasy at all. I appreciated that they use quality ingredients you can actually taste. My friends enjoyed their skewers too. Portions were just right for me.

The chips were hot and crispy, and the portion was huge! The lady who served us was really lovely, made it a nice lunch stop.

The bill came to just under £80 for two of us with drinks. For the quality of the food and the attentive service, I thought that was pretty fair.

Grabbed the gluten-free spaghetti and meatballs for takeaway. Still hot when I picked it up, which is a nice touch. The meatballs were actually pretty decent, not dry at all. Good to see a proper gluten-free choice on the menu.

A decent spot, but remember to bring cash. The pasta was pretty good, simple and fresh. Service was fine, a bit slow when they got busy.

Been coming here for years, and the new spot is just as good. Love how they kept the menu consistent. It does get packed though, had to lean in a bit to chat over the buzz. Still, that's the trade-off for a proper lively atmosphere.

Service was quick and the staff were nice. The food actually came out warm, which was a nice surprise. My pasta was just the right temperature, not lukewarm like you sometimes get.

The grilled chicken pizza was decent. The base was good, chicken was tender. But for the price, I was expecting a slightly bigger portion. It's fine for a quick lunch, just don't go in starving.

The location is prime, but the prices are still pretty reasonable. I had the grilled salmon, and it was a nice portion for what I paid. Good to know you can get a decent meal around here without breaking the bank.

The gluten-free menu here is actually decent! I had the GF pasta and it was really tasty. Nice to have options when you're out with friends who have dietary needs.

Great selection of cask ales, all well-kept. Stopped in after a meeting nearby. The service was prompt, and the pints were spot on. Exactly what you want from a proper pub.

The homemade chips are the star here - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Generous portions of classic pub grub.

The beer here is the real draw. They had a rotating cask ale that was spot on, perfectly balanced and not too heavy. The narrow room means it gets packed quickly, but that's a minor thing when the pint's this good.

Everything was piping hot and served so quickly. A real find for breakfast, genuinely faultless. Just the right kind of start to the day.

Great spot for a gin drink. The staff really know their stuff and gave me a solid recommendation for a new one to try. My glass was definitely on the generous side, which I always appreciate. Felt like good value for the price point.

The staff were really helpful with our allergies. They even brought out a birthday cake with a decorated plate, which was a nice touch.
