The San Francisco Asian Art Museum was built in 1966. It has more than 15,000 art treasures from Asian countries and regions such as China, Japan, Korea and Indonesia. As a key collection, there are more than 2,000 pieces of Chinese porcelain, more than 1,200 pieces of jade and more than 800 pieces of bronze, which are the richest collections of Chinese jades in the world. It also has the largest collection of Asian art in the United States.
