Benihana Review

We were rained into the hotel due to a tropical storm. This was not the trip to pay the high prices of a great Benihana experience. Instead we ate in the lounge during Happy Hour where they offered many appetizers under $5 each. It was perfect! The food and service was very good.

Perhaps it was because a table mate had a seafood allergy, and the chef was careful to prepare that order separately, but it just wasn't the elaborate show we are used to. The food was delicious and well prepared, and the server made a sake recommendation that we did enjoy, but overall, not very impressive. We had to request refills on my child's drink and the adults water orders, my son requested steamed rice, not the fried, and it was still prepared as fried for him, until we reminded that he requested steamed.
