It is the largest Synagogue in Europe and the second largest in the world (the first in New York, USA). Founded in 1859, the church was designed by Frigyes Feszl with private donations, Roman romance and Moorish architectural elements, and can accommodate 3,000 people. Behind the church are Jewish museums, heroic temples, Massacre Memorial trees and cemeteries.

这是欧洲挺有名的一个犹太教堂，开放的时间应该是只有周一到周四，需要购买门票，教堂里面除了常规的一些宗教的设施之外，还可以看到犹太教的一些珍贵文物。

在二战时期，匈牙利也是犹太人受迫害最严重的国家之一，现在的这座犹太教堂，我觉得它有一方面是犹太教宗教的作用，另一方面还会有一些纪念性的作用。

这个犹太教堂在整个欧洲的名气都不小，这里是很多犹太人过来祷告或者是纪念在战争中受到迫害的同胞的一个地方，需要买票进入，很宏伟。
