Fortress Hohensalzburg Review

High up over Salzburg you get an amazing view over the city and the snowcapped mountains on the other side. The panoramic tower you get an amazing 360 view. Unfortunately I was walking around inside when the weather was clear, and when I finished the fortress inside, which was very interesting btw, it started to snow heavily and we couldn't see very far on the tower. Also the ticket only allows you to go into each attraction once so make sure you go up the tower when the weather is good.

霍恩萨尔茨堡要塞位于奥地利第四大城市萨尔茨堡的山坡上，它是欧洲最大的中世纪城堡之一，城堡座落在城市里最耀眼的位置上，城堡的建筑有近千年的历史。

萨尔茨堡要塞介绍：霍恩萨尔茨堡要塞（德语：Festung Hohensalzburg）位于萨尔茨堡旧城区海拔一百多米的僧侣山(Moenchsberg)上，是历代萨尔茨堡市主教的居住地，也是欧洲最大的中世纪城堡之一，被认为是萨尔茨堡市的标志。城堡主庭院里有一个建于1539年的水槽，水槽边挺立的一棵老桔树已有近350年的历史；礼仪厅内的金厅内饰奢华，可以看到镀金木雕和华丽的意大利彩陶壁炉；博物馆中陈列了中世纪的艺术珍品，令游人叹为观止；此外还可以看到刑讯室、囚牢及以“萨尔茨堡之舵(Salzburg Steer)”著称的人控机械风琴(1502年)，莫扎特的父亲为这架风琴谱写过赞美诗。这座城堡在1515年修建的运货缆车可能是世界上最古老的缆车；如今城堡的交通已现代化，全用空中缆车连接，乘缆车需十分钟可登上城堡，游毕城堡可取道登山小径徒步下山。
