Hot Dog Heaven Review

We LOVE hot dogs and are always disappointed in most restaurants so-called 'Chicago dogs' as most are really imitations. We were pleasantly surprised that Hot Dog Heaven makes the real deal authentic Chicago dog - poppy seed bun, hot dog casing that crunches when you bite and all the correct condiments. There are quite a few other hot dog choices on the menu - something for everyone. Their cole slaw is creamy and flavorful. My only disappointment were the fries. While they were hot and crispy they were salted with garlic salt. I am not a fan of garlic salt, but if you like it you will love the fries. The menu also includes several different sausages, quite a few side items and ice cream. Hot Dog Heaven is not fancy but clean with good food and the ambiance of a hot dog stand from days gone by. It's a fun and delicious alternative to fast food chains.
