The museum is a modern building standing in a beautiful park. The exhibits are medium-sized and cover a fairly wide range of modern works. Although the layout is great, I think the managers lack some imagination for their cafe, a concrete courtyard in the middle of the museum, and the administrative office overlooking the beautiful park. It’s not the kind of place you’d like to have coffee or lunch.

In the museum there is permanent collection of paintings and statues of famous art-moderne French and world wide artists and also temporary exhibitions of modern artists like Nicholas de Staël that I was delighted to visit and see. Musée d'Art Moderne is a must see if you're in Paris.
