National Museum of Asian Art Review

The Freer Gallery houses one of the premier collections of Asian art with magnificent statues of Buddhas and objects. It has glorious colourful gardens and located on the National Mall.

The paintings are very artistic and worth a slow visit.

There are many fine art in Asia, especially in South Asia and Central Asia. Although the pavilion is not big, it is worth visiting for those who love Asia.

The Seckler Gallery is connected to the Forrell Art Gallery and is a museum hosted by the Smithsonian Institution. Its main exhibits are Asian art, mainly statues. Building on more than 1,000 exhibits donated by Mr. Sekler and $4 million, the gallery is now more abundant and often hosts special exhibitions on the theme of art in different Asian countries, which are worth visiting.

The Sekler Art Museum is a privately donated art gallery by Arthur M. Sekler, which displays more than 1,000 pieces of East Asian art treasures, including bronze statues, Buddha statues, stone carvings, jade, porcelain and some literati calligraphy and paintings in the Han Dynasty in China. This museum will also hold some special art exhibitions from time to time, which is more artistic and academic. I saw a few words of Sackler at the entrance of the museum, and immediately thought that Peking University also has a Sackler Museum. It is estimated that the medical scientist also contributed.
