St. George's Anglican Church, Penang, Malaysia Review

St. George's Church, although it is a church, but I feel like a small museum with a lot of precious oil paintings and some treasures. It feels like a good choice for friends with faith to come here.

St. George's Church is the largest all-wood building church in the world. The whole church is all white Gothic style. The stained glass inside is gorgeous. Even the chandelier above the altar is also a gift from Queen Victoria. This time I just encountered a major renovation. But I can still feel its grandeur.

Part of the heritage trail (temples, churches, mosques), the Protestant graveyard and the Church of the Assumption are just further ahead.When we arrived at the temple, we noticed it seemed to be under construction, and no one else was around. We would have loved to enter the church, but unfortunately there was no information displayed regarding church operation timings. We took to exploring the courtyard and came across a beautiful pagoda-like structure in front of the church.

The beautiful church, built by the British in 1819, belongs to the East India Company. It's really awesome. After reading so many historical books, I saw the buildings they left behind for the first time. The beautiful scenery added to the history, and the time seemed to go back two hundred years!! _________

Also known as the Greek Orthodox Church of Margielgis (The Church of Maar Girgiis), built on one of the many towers of the Babylonian fortress, located on the Babylonian Fort (north side of the Coptic Museum), is a Byzantine church with a domed dome, and is the most magnificent Romanesque building in Old Cairo.

If you live in Love Lane, you can see many beautiful buildings from the end of the lane towards the sea and along the main road towards the wharf. The sunshine in Georgetown is always shining, the blue sky and white clouds are hollow, so the snow-white of St. George's Church always feels very piercing. But in the evening, it's quiet in the sunset against the coconut trees.
