龙山风景区的名字很大气，但是，这个地方的山水确实撑得起这个称号。水灵山秀，环境优美，确实让游客感受到一种真正置身于大自然之中的感觉。

封开的景点比较分散，而且由于离珠三角比较远，下高速还有走一段省道，所以前来的游客不多，环境比较清幽。龙山是当地开发最为完善的景点了，有岭南奇景酒店及餐厅。几座喀斯特山峰，让这里也号称自己是“封开的小桂林”。围绕酒店区域有几个溶洞，参观时彩灯璀璨，不过洞内已几乎不再发育，虽然阴凉，可是并不潮湿。游玩的点并不多，只是来呼吸一下新鲜空气，或用于团体进行拓展活动。
