Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall, located in the Peach Garden of Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, was completed on January 16, 1992. It is a large memorial hall built in memory of Zhou Enlai, the founding premier of the People's Republic of China. It is a majestic monument that shows the style of Zhou Enlai's generation. Deng Xiaoping inscribed the name of the museum. Comrades Jiang Zemin, Li Peng, Li Xiannian and Yang Shangkun inscribed the memorial. The Museum area consists of memorial island, wide water surface and circular green space around the lake. The total area is 350,000 square meters, of which 70 [%] is the water surface. There are main hall and attached hall on the island. The total building area is 3265 square meters, including 1918 square meters of main hall and 1345 square meters of attached hall. Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall was appraised as a civilized unit in Jiangsu Province in 1999 and a demonstration site of civilized scenic spots in Jiangsu Province in 2000.
