* A 30-minute stargazing session where your guide will introduce you to the stars and constellations in the night sky while sharing fascinating knowledge about these celestial bodies.
* A 45-minute telescope observation session allows you to view planets (seasonal availability) and numerous deep-sky objects such as star clusters and nebulae through our telescope.
* 15 minutes of private time where you can choose to take photos with family and friends under the stars, gather around the fireplace to listen to celestial stories from different cultures, or enjoy soft and sweet roasted marshmallows.
Guided tour. Our professional astronomy guide will operate the telescope to show you the solar system and deep-sky objects.
Photography: We can take family or individual photos for you under the beautiful dark starry sky. The photos will be edited and sent to you.
Chairs and blankets. Outdoor furniture, pillows, mattresses, and blankets will be set up for you to comfortably enjoy the night sky.

Exclusions:
1. Need to go on your own.
2. All the fees that are not mentioned in the inclusions.
Time Slot
Departure in the evening or at midnight, with 1-2 time slots available each night. The specific departure time may vary daily. For details, please contact customer support.
Important Notes:
1. Age restriction: Suitable only for adults and children aged 5 and above. Children aged 0-4 are not permitted to participate.
2. Clothing: Wear warm clothes or bring extra blankets for use during the experience, as temperatures at Lake Tekapo can be unpredictable.
Please wear closed-toe shoes during the tour; we recommend wearing snow boots or layered socks in winter. Avoid wearing light-up shoes as they severely affect night vision and disrupt the tour experience.
Important Notice: (Regarding stargazing tours after midnight)
If your tour booking is scheduled for the early morning, please confirm you have selected the correct date. If you plan to arrive in Tekapo in the afternoon on December 31 and stay overnight, you can choose either the 10:45 pm tour on December 31 or the 12:45 am tour on January 1, but please do not select the 12:45 am tour on December 31.
