I joined the tour at the last minute, so I didn't have high expectations. However, our tour guide, Susie, was surprisingly considerate of us. The bus first dropped off the larger group at Gubei Water Town, and then we transferred to a minibus to Jinshanling. I must say, the minibus driver, Mr. An, was incredibly thoughtful. He took care of every single tourist. He even urged us to get on the bus quickly in the evening because it was getting chilly. Jinshanling Great Wall. I descended the mountain from the East Five-Eyed Tower. Every snapshot I took was a beautiful scene. If you have enough time, I recommend watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. This way, you can see the golden hues of Jinshanling. I am very satisfied with this tour organized by Ctrip.

We had an amazing day. Yoyo, our guide did an amazing job and spoke great English! She helped us get the most out of our Great Wall experience, with a lot of background knowledge and stories about how the Chinese view the Great Wall. The tour of the Ming Tomb was very peaceful and nicely explained by Yoyo. She was very helpful the hole day and even gave us Tipps for our following days. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!

Private tour was excellent. The guide, Mina, moved through everything at a good pace so we didn’t feel bored (especially with two young kids). We started at 8am and were done by 1pm which was great. Tiananmen Square was about a 20 minute wait to get in because of all the security and thoroughly checking everyone with bags. You can go in a faster line if you don’t bring a bag. The other sites (Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven) were fast to enter. The only thing that was bad was the van. It smelled of smoke, so we had to wind down the windows. We see a lot of drivers waiting and smoking outside their cars, but at least they need air fresheners. The kids and I had a headache from the smoke. Luckily the Forbidden City was only 20 minutes from the Temple of Heaven and our hotel was only 20 minutes away as well.

I was very satisfied with the choice. Teacher Song was very professional and enthusiastic, and her explanations were very thorough. Although we only visited a part of the Forbidden City, we learned a lot in just one morning.

The service was great. They waited for us a long time in advance and were very friendly throughout the whole process. The wildlife park is also very pristine. It was a very happy trip. Chartering a car was the right choice!

Transportation wasn't very convenient, so after thinking about it, we decided to hire a car, which might be more cost-effective. The wildlife park can only be explored by car, and there were quite a few animals. However, it was really hot, and many animals were resting in the shade, so they weren't very active. We also left too late. The downside of hiring a car for a day trip is the limited time—only 6 hours. Beyond that, it costs 200 baht per hour. During the walking tour, many shows are missed, making it not worthwhile. If your accommodation has convenient transportation, it's best to avoid group tours and buy individual tickets, which will give you more time.
