It was a little awkward since our family was the only applicant, but thanks to the kind guide's funny stories and the driver, we had a wonderful time. My mother asked me to make sure to pass on her thanks to the guide. We will definitely sign up again next year.★

Having visited Kyoto several times, I finally realized I should explore more attractions instead of just stopping at Hanamikoji, Kiyomizu-dera, Fushimi, Inari, and Nishiki Market. So, I joined a small day tour to see three places I'd never been before. Since many Kyoto attractions are scattered, it's really inconvenient to visit several places in one day without a car. Sanzen-in Temple, Kifune Shrine, and Arashiyama—if I had to choose, I'd visit Sanzen-in Temple multiple times; it's so beautiful! Of course, early September isn't peak autumn foliage season, so Arashiyama wasn't at its most beautiful. Personally, I felt that without the autumn leaves, the place resembled Anji or Tonglu in Zhejiang—green mountains, clear water, and bamboo forests, nothing particularly special.
The small tour departed from Osaka, which was especially convenient for us living in Kyoto, as we could sleep in a little longer, have breakfast, and wait for the tour bus to pick us up. The driver even arranged for me to be a tour guide on the spot, giving me tickets for the Sagano Scenic Railway and letting me lead nine people on a round-trip train journey and arrange seating. It was quite fun.★

Overall, the trip was good. The only drawback was that although the tour guide said WeChat Pay and Alipay were widely accepted in Kobe, very few accepted them. Most places only accepted cash and credit cards, which meant we couldn't eat at the restaurants we wanted. Make sure to bring enough cash or credit cards when visiting Kobe.★

It was great. The driver was punctual, helpful, friendly, patient and easy to communicate with. We had a good time in Nara and he also stopped by a few places for us since my son really wanted to get a new Nintendo, and with his help, we found the console that my son really wanted. Driver Mr Richard also gave advice as to where to eat, shop, and visit. We had a wonderful time.★

I booked this tour because I wanted to visit Kyoto for a day while staying in Osaka! I decided to go on a tour because I figured going on my own would require researching subways and buses, and I'd end up wasting a lot of time traveling. Since it was a private bus, the trip was very comfortable, and the guide at Kumumichi did a great job with the tips and explanations. 👍 I booked a tour that only visited the three most famous places because I wanted to look around at a leisurely pace. Since there is a lot of walking, it was great to be able to rest comfortably during the bus rides!! I think I made the right decision booking this! (The deer really enjoyed the grass you gave them at the deer park; thank you so much! 🤗👍) Thank you so much for recommending great restaurants on the way to Osaka and for helping me make a reservation at a restaurant I specifically requested!! The driver was very friendly and could arrange each trip to his own specifications. He would also contact you the day before the trip to confirm the itinerary. I highly recommend hiring them if you are traveling in a group to Osaka!
