The journey from Queenstown takes 4-5 hours, but the scenery along the way is so beautiful that you forget about time. The fjord cruise is also highly recommended!

Excellent - very good guide. We managed to do the 20K walk in less than 7 hours so we jut made it to the water taxi I recommend taking the earlier taxi at 8.30 to save the anxiety of the return.

The operator replies to messages very fast. Instructions given were very clear the day before. The bus picked up time punctually. The driver, also acts as a guide, Abby is very professional and knowledgeable. He'll give a brief introduction about the surroundings on the way to Milford Sound Cruise. He's a good driver too.. The drive was very smooth and comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience. We were happy to have Abby on that day.

Although the view of the falls from the boat is only one to two minutes close, the entire trip is well-timed, eliminating the need for a six-hour round trip drive. Joining a local tour is the best option.

The driver was fantastic! He was very enthusiastic and clearly loved his job, providing a lot of explanations. The fjords were breathtakingly beautiful even in the rain, and the scenery throughout the entire journey was excellent, making it anything but boring. Although the drive was long, there were many stops along the way, which was great. The travel agency was also very responsible, creating a separate group chat to remind everyone of the itinerary and meeting point – very responsible!
