Ben was a brilliant driver, but couldn’t hear him in the back row seats. Our nervous traveller thoroughly enjoyed it & we all loved the experience. It was overcast & threatening rain but didn’t but this didn’t detract from the experience.

Milford Sound is a must-see in New Zealand. Not only is it a unique fjord landscape unlike any found in my country, but Milford Sound in the rain is even more like something out of Lord of the Rings than on a sunny day. We set off early from Queenstown, trekking through mountains and rainforests shrouded in mist. The sky was overcast, and we occasionally passed waterfalls formed by mountain streams, enveloped in fog. It was truly breathtaking.

A very hardcore activity, highly recommended! I thought it would be hunting in a fixed location, but it turned out to be searching for rabbits all over the mountains. It's quite challenging; the wind is very strong in the mountains, so be sure to wear plenty of clothing. I finally managed to take down two rabbits.


