Wow, the Longmen grotto especially is both everything and nothing like I expected! I appreciated the tour guide at both the Shaolin temple and the grotto telling stories and giving explanations for the things we were looking at. Both places were extremely, extremely busy, but I managed to see everything I wanted to!

The dinner was exactly as described, everything was very beautiful and interesting. BUT... A very unpleasant situation arose: I booked the dinner two weeks before the event. The day before, I received information that they couldn't seat us together, so we were assigned one seat on the outer edge of one side and one on the outer edge of the other. Basically, all our plans and mood were ruined, and the dinner left a rather disappointing impression. Although, the event itself was truly interesting.
