Overall, the DMZ (Sanba Parallel) day tour was a great experience. The itinerary was well-paced yet compact, and the convenient transportation from Seoul made it ideal for tourists wanting to delve deeper into Korean history and current events. The tour included visits to iconic sites such as the Third Tunnel, an observation deck, and Imjingak Peace Park, offering a rich and immersive experience. The guide was attentive and responsible, explaining the historical context and important information beforehand, making the entire tour easier to understand. While some sections involved walking and the Third Tunnel was a bit physically demanding, it was well worth the trip—a unique experience combining knowledge and adventure. I recommend bringing your passport and wearing comfortable shoes.★

Many thanks to Lizzy, she did a great job :) So, what exactly is the tour like? You travel by coach with a group of about 30-40 people, visiting each station. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the bridge from departure. Along the way, you receive a lot of information about the DMZ and the individual stations. Good to know: You can buy everything you need at each station (snacks, drinks, souvenirs, etc.). You're not allowed to take anything into the tunnel (no watch, no cell phone, no camera...) except for a bottle of water. I recommend being in good physical condition for the tunnel. It's a relatively steep 350-meter descent and then back up again. You're also not allowed to take any photos of North Korea at the observatory. This tour can also be booked with other providers and is significantly cheaper there. See the photo of the bus 😉
