At the entrance to the bus that took us to the Outlet, the driver demanded a QR code, which we didn't have on our ticket. He got angry and kicked us off the bus. We ended up standing in line again, and he reluctantly and irritably agreed to accept our reservation number. I was worried that the driver would get on my nerves again on the way back from the Outlet. But on the return trip, the one I'm reviewing, there was a different driver who immediately checked our reservation number with a smile and politely invited us on the bus. Thanks to him.★

I was going to book directly on the JR website, but I thought booking on Trip.com would be more convenient. I booked through Trip.com, and since I can use it for free for 3 days for 40,000 yen, I saved a lot on transportation costs.
A round trip to Izumo alone by express train costs over 40,000 yen, so this is a total bargain. Please note that this price applies only to tourists.★

It was a great deal! We landed in Fukuoka, took the airport express for free, then took it one stop to JR Hakata Station to exchange for JR Pass tickets. We visited many places. Our return trip was in Osaka, so it took exactly one week.
