Using 7-Eleven gift certificates is incredibly convenient! They're equivalent to cash and can be used to purchase most items in the store, making them useful for everything from breakfast to coffee. Best of all, the paper certificate automatically adds to your cash balance after use, so you don't have to worry about reaching a minimum spending amount. The round-trip card from Taoyuan International Airport to downtown Taipei and the card for unlimited use of the city's subway are separate. It's a great deal. I lost my city subway card on the way there, but the card for the return trip to the airport was separate, which was very helpful. The pick-up point at the airport is near the subway ticket gate on the B2 floor. I searched for it quite a while, thinking it must be somewhere inside the airport.
