Today, we visited three places with our guide, Lena: the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and the Summer Palace. I'd like to start with the main plus: Lena's Russian is truly excellent. She understood us perfectly and explained everything clearly and effortlessly. It's clear she knows a lot about these places.
However, an important caveat for future tourists: this tour isn't for those who like to stroll leisurely and spend time examining the details of each site. The tour moves fairly quickly, and if you're looking for in-depth, detailed commentary on every corner, you won't get it unless you ask questions. Don't expect a huge amount of information—more of a "quick tour."
Special thanks to both Lena and the driver for taking us to a good restaurant serving Peking duck—a very pleasant service!
Bottom line: for those who want to see everything, quickly get the key facts, and not get tired, this is ideal. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, consider this. Thanks to Lena for her work and excellent Russian!★

I was considering whether to visit the City myself or with a group, and I am happy I chose the latter! The tour was simply amazing, I definitely recommend booking it.
There are three factors contributing to this.
First, the groups are quite small, making for a more streamlined visit.
Second, the ease of an organised event - not having to worry about tickets, where to go,...
Finally, and most importantly, an incredible guide: Vanessa. Apparently, Vanessa has been a guide since 2011. This shows in the expertise of her guiding. Not only is her tour structured and well paced, she pays attention to small details as well. She is regularly counting to make sure no one is missing, even while explaining. I asked a question about heating and she made a small detour a dozen minutes later to show a heating entry. Despite coming to the end of the program, she stayed to show some extra elements. And the list goes on. If you can choose your guide, choose Vanessa!★

We really enjoyed everything; they drove us comfortably and showed us everything. The guide was excellent. He picked us up when we told him to. We had some issues with WeChat and couldn't register. Despite that, they still didn't cancel our reservation and communicated with us as best we could. The car was comfortable and clean. And the tour's locations were beautiful, unforgettable.
