It was a great experience. It was my first time to take a one-day tour. We visited Tomita Farm, Shirahige Falls, Aoike Pond, and Shikisai-no-Oka. I didn't bring a power bank, so the guide lent me one to charge. ๐ I was so touched. The guide was very patient in explaining things along the way. I will definitely take part again next time.โ

We had a wonderful day trip! We booked a day in advance through the Trip.com mobile app, and although we weren't departing from Sapporo, thanks to excellent communication and understanding, we were able to join the group at Asahiyama Zoo on time. Our guide, Sophia, was incredibly attentive, communicating in Japanese, English, and Mandarin to ensure everyone understood the itinerary.
We had ample time to explore and take photos at each attraction. One pleasant surprise was the unexpected opportunity to see the Biei Christmas tree up close, something we had originally planned to only view from the bus. Thanks to Sophia and the driver's on-site assessment, the entire group was able to get off the bus for photos!
Speaking of the driver, he could also communicate with us in Japanese and Mandarin. Since our hotel was located in Asahikawa and we weren't returning to Sapporo by tour bus, the guide and driver even checked the public bus schedules after New Year's Day to understand any special changes and arrangements. Their meticulous and patient service made our experience even more enriching.
At Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls, Sophia's explanations gave us a deeper understanding of these beautiful places. Heartfelt thanks to Trip.com for the arrangements, and to Gogoday for the day trip that added such unforgettable moments to our Hokkaido trip! ๐๐โ

๐ Sanny absolutely killed it as our tour guide at Ashimaya Zoo! His passion for wildlife was infectious and made the whole experience so much fun ๐คฉ. He shared crazy fun facts about the animals, like how the monkeys have a secret society ๐ (ok, maybe not secret, but Sanny made it sound like it). His knowledge and energy made the tour super engaging โ I loved every minute! Highly recommend Sanny if you're looking for a fun, informative guide at Ashimaya Zoo ๐. 5 stars!lโ

Most of the itinerary was followed. Quite compacted since the sun sets earlier in winter. Went Asahiyama Zoo, the poplar tree "Ken & Mary", Snowmobile at Shikisai-no-oka and lastly Takushinkan Gallery (not Ningle Terrace). The biggest disappointment was missing out on Ningle Terrace which was the highlight of why I wanted to take this tour. However, tour did indicate that if traffic controls are in place, they will skip it. Bus stopped a few times for rest and toilet breaks during the 2-plus hour journey from Sapporo and back to Sapporo. Tour guide, Tenzo, spoke in English and Chinese to intro us to the region - food wise and places to go. Overall, it was a good tour for those who don't drive.๎ฅ
