This tour was both driving to "New" Zagreb as well as walking quite a bit in Upper Zagreb and the downtown area. We loved our guide, Filip, who offered charm, the history, the architecture and a little Croatian cynicism as a local. He even found us dinner reservations at the most delicious restaurant we would not have found on our own. Highly recommend!

We covered many of the more interesting ‘sights’ of the town and Petros was knowledgeable and engaging. Having the benefit of a local guide was great and provided an extra dimension to the sights shown. Taking us to the funicular just before the cannon shot was a highlight. Something we’d not experienced before. Make sure you take some water. Even though it wasn’t overly hot it is a walking tour after all and handy to have a drink on you. Very enjoyable and highly recommend.

Reviews: Zagreb: Plitvice & Rastoke Guided Trip with Ticket (ENG/ESP)

Step into a Fairytale Wonderland – Plitvice Lakes, Croatia 🇭🇷💚 Some scenery, no matter how beautiful the photo, can't compare to seeing it with your own eyes. One of the most stunning sights on my Croatian trip was Plitvice Lakes National Park, often called the "European Jiuzhaigou." Strolling along the winding wooden boardwalk, the crystal-clear lakes before me displayed different hues—emerald green, sapphire blue, and more—changing with the sunlight and angle. The cascading lakes, the babbling brooks, the spectacular waterfalls, and the surrounding forests created a breathtakingly beautiful landscape painting. I kept stopping to take pictures, afraid of missing a single moment. But as I walked, I realized that the most beautiful scenery doesn't have to be captured through a lens; it's about appreciating it with your own eyes and feeling it with your heart. The most captivating aspect of travel isn't just about how many countries you visit or how many sights you see, but about rediscovering the beauty and wonder of life amidst different landscapes. The beauty of Plitvice Lakes isn't its grandeur, but rather a tranquility that makes you reluctant to leave. This trip not only feasted my eyes on breathtaking scenery but also gave my long-busy mind a well-deserved break. 💕 P.S. Plitvice Lakes, officially known as Plitvice Lakes National Park, comprises 16 main lakes and numerous waterfalls, and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

Our guide Marin was excellent and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful day out. Highly recommend this tour as less crowded due to time of year.
