A really good option if you want to visit Shirakawa. The tour left promptly and was well organized. The tour guides Keita and Yasushi were really positive and enthusiastic. They shared lots of interesting information and had a good sense of humour. We had almost 3 hours at Shirakawa and it was more than enough to explore the beautiful town. We arrived back in Kanazawa just after 1pm. I highly recommend this tour.★

Selda brought Kanazawa to life for our group of four. Her guidance through the market emboldened us to try new foods and return on our own the next day. We loved learning about the geisha system, samurai houses, various aspects of Japanese culture and real estate. We ended up spending an extra day in Kanazawa because we realized there was so much for us to explore! This was an efficient trip, covering Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Nara Park, and Todai-ji Temple in a single day, experiencing iconic Japanese landmarks. At Kiyomizu-dera Temple, the panoramic views of Kyoto and the majestic wooden architecture were truly impressive. At Fushimi Inari Shrine, you could stroll along the endless torii gate paths and soak in Japan's unique mystical atmosphere. In Nara Park, the sight of deer blending seamlessly with nature was unforgettable, and seeing the Great Buddha at Todai-ji Temple in person was breathtaking in its scale and presence. The entire itinerary was perfectly timed, and our driver/guide was both humorous and responsible! Overall, it was a smooth and satisfying trip, highly recommended for first-time visitors to Kyoto and Nara!
