It was an enjoyable tour and a great way to see Saint-Emilion and the vineyards if you're short on time. The tour guide gave a good introduction to the history of wine making in the area and the guides at the two vineyards were great. Time in Saint Emilion itself is limited but it's so small, it didn't really matter. My only slight criticism is that for the price, the amount of wine sampled was quite small.

The tour guide, Imalia, was knowledgeable and caring. May has achilles issues and the guide took care that she enjoyed the walking part of the tour because it was very hilly. The chateau is owned by the family and the owner was our guide. We broke into two groups of Four. We saw the vines and he explained them to us. We saw the varsity, and the aging barrels with detailed descriptions. The wine tasting was also very good. We even bought a bottle.

The tour was a great snapshot of the Bordeaux wine region. Drive through the vineyards & one fantastic winery tasting at a gorgeous family owned organic winery then a brief walking tour & small amount of free time in the St Emlion village. It highlights the beauty of this region.
