Our time was short so this tour allowed us to see as much as possible of the amazing Fes! Its a long drive, but the van was comfortable and Hazma, our driver was skilled, smooth and knew the best rest stops, while Hachim, our guide, answered all questions about scenary enroute, and took the best pictures. Once in Fes, the local guide, Idrissi kept us moving through historical sites, the best panoramic views and hidden treasures. We watched local artisans making Fez pottery, wool dyers, weavers with beautiful scarves, met rug makers and saw the tannery, with time to visit the shops with all these products. We had the delicious lunch at a traditional morrocan resturant. I can't believe how much we packed into this amazing day! A huge Thank you to our guides and driver.

Mohammed came to my hotel and it immediately became clear that he knew a great deal about the city and its history. We spent most of the tour learning about the history and meeting people from various trades. It was relaxed and very enjoyable.

The tour with Omar was very authentic and you soon realise that Omar is located in Fès, as he knows many people and they know him. He shower us many places, especially inside the houses in Medina, we would never have seen without him. He also showed us shops of local artists to buy high-quality handicraft if you‘re into it. Although we booked the tour on very short term, everything worked out and the communication with the guide was smooth.

Fantastic guide who took the time for me even though I was the only visitor (the group had changed their reservation to the next day). The tour went ahead as planned, and my guide was really lovely. I was able to ask all my questions and visit lots of great places. There was absolutely no obligation to buy anything from the cooperatives (this was clearly reiterated to me, and there was truly no pressure to buy). I highly recommend visiting the Medina with a local guide to save time and understand all the details of this beautiful culture. Thank you!

My partner and I did a day tour of the Medina with Yahya and had an absolutely amazing time. We learned a ton, and yahya was great at picking up what we were interested without us having to say — he went out of his way to make sure we experienced the beauty of the Medina, from a walkthrough of the historic hammam to a great street food lunch. He’ll take you anywhere you want to go, so don’t be shy! We were so grateful to get to spend the day with Yahya and highly recommend it!


