Dahong Mountain
Dahong Mountain, also known as Naomuge Mountain, is located in Siziwang Banner, Inner Mongolia. The mountain is a Gobi grassland terrace cliff, which is called the standard stratigraphic section of the Tertiary System in the geological community. It is about 8 kilometers long from north to south, about 5 kilometers wide from east to west, and about 1,120 meters above sea level at its highest point. Because the sandy soil is red, it looks like a red mountain from the bottom of the steps, and it is extremely magnificent no matter how far or near it is viewed. The Dahong Mountain terrace suddenly falls from a flat place to form a cliff. After millions of years of wind and rain erosion, there are strange peaks and valleys in various shapes, some like giant whales, some like huge scallops, some like crocodiles, and some like tortoises rushing to the beach. For off-peak travel, I highly recommend visiting Hongshiya in October. The alpine meadows and light snow on the mountain peaks are absolutely stunning. There are fewer people, making it easier to take great photos. You should definitely drive there. Also, be sure to dress warmly, as it can be freezing cold below 10°C!

Dazhao Temple and Xilitu Temple have many similarities. You can see some people taking commercial photos, and there are many exquisite Tibetan Buddhist statues and halls. There are also some halls on both sides. For those who are not familiar with it, it is good to learn about Tibetan Buddhism. But don't have too high expectations.

It's beautiful! The painted decorations in Shanxi are truly unique; it feels like you're surrounded by immortals. Huayan Temple has the largest existing chiwen (mythical beast ornament), and the all-copper underground palace is also astonishing. Definitely worth a visit!

The scenic area is quite large, divided into two sand islands. Access is by cable car, and the aerial view of the desert is quite impressive. There are many amusement facilities inside, offering a great experience. Although it was a holiday, it wasn't too crowded, so overall it was a good place. Allow plenty of time; exploring both islands will take at least five to six hours.
