A huge thank you to our tour guide, Hikari! He's a young man from Shandong, but fluent in both Chinese, English, and Japanese. He was incredibly enthusiastic throughout the tour and even offered to take photos for us. I booked this day tour for the next day at the last minute, as days with 10% visibility around Mount Fuji are rare, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to experience it again. The meeting point was at Tokyo Station, which wasn't hard to find; the guide provided detailed directions in the group chat. We were lucky; the weather was perfect, and the roads were great with minimal traffic. We visited most of the places mentioned in the itinerary, though the order might vary slightly depending on the actual situation. We saw Mount Fuji the whole time, even catching a glimpse of a smaller version in the distance, and the last vestiges of cherry blossoms at Oshino Hakkai. The guide even gave us a small gift at the end, which was very thoughtful. The only downside was that some spots were quite crowded, making it a bit rushed and not enough time to buy souvenirs. I'd love to go again on my own next time.

This place features the largest infinity bath not only in Atami but also in Japan. The price includes a bedrock bath similar to a Korean jjimjilbang. There is a restaurant on the second floor; while the prices are on the higher side, if you order a main dish, you can enjoy a buffet-style meal with salad, rice, and side dishes. Vending machine drinks are expensive, so it is recommended to bring your own. Shuttle buses depart frequently from the McDonald's in front of Shizuoka Station, so you shouldn't have any trouble.

Reviews: Izu Tokai Bus Free Ride Pass "Ito & Izu Kogen 2-day Ticket"

I booked two days' tickets in advance on Trip.com. After booking, do not open the ticket and press "Use". Only press "Use" on the day you arrive. The day you open the ticket counts as day one. After opening the ticket, there will be a countdown for the day and day two. Show the ticket to the driver when boarding, then pull out the tamper ticket to board. When getting off, show the ticket to the driver again and return the tamper ticket (he will ask you to put it in a coin-operated slot). This two-day ticket is quite convenient and cost-effective. You'll basically break even after about four rides. Friendly reminder: Do your research before taking the bus, as the buses to each attraction are different, and importantly, they run infrequently, sometimes with a wait of up to an hour. Be careful not to miss the last bus, then you might have to take a taxi.

Reaching the summit, at an altitude of nearly 5,000 meters, one will experience a state of oxygen deprivation both psychologically and physically. The close-up views of Glaciers No. 1, 2, and 3 from the summit are breathtaking. Reflecting on the scene of the Central Committee of the Communist Party traversing the snow-capped mountains, one will feel a deep sense of admiration. At the summit, looking around at the surrounding landscape, one sees a world of ice and snow, a fairyland.
