Reviews: Hakone | Fuji-Hakone | Hakone-Kamakura Pass (Optional · E-Ticket)

Hard to decide if it's worth it or not, Due to the long bus ride from Hakone to Fujikawa area. Would be more worth it if it was 5 days, as I felt 3 days was abit too tight.
Reviews: Official ticket: JR Tokyo Wide Area Pass (electronic redemption voucher, redeemable from 8/21)

For those planning a self-guided trip to Tokyo, I highly recommend buying a JR Pass. It's incredibly worthwhile! We arrived at the airport late that night, and after exchanging our physical tickets at the East Japan Service Center, we were able to immediately book our train tickets online for the next morning's departure from Tokyo via the Narita Express. With the physical ticket, you can reserve various reserved seats at any JR station – it's really quick and convenient! We flew from the airport to Tokyo, then transferred to a limited express train to Mito City – simple and convenient… The only downside is that there's no Chinese name lookup for station names; you have to search for the Japanese station names online and then input them, which took a little time, but the overall experience was great!

Invincible! Invincible! The strongest! Transportation from Shinjuku to Odawara to Hakone is completely free! FREEEEE! ! ! If you don't encounter strong winds to force you to take Izu transportation, you don't need to spend another penny to buy a ticket. It is recommended that everyone who goes to Hakone has one. As long as you are willing to go out, there is absolutely no way to lose!
Reviews: Donghai Bus Freedom Pass

E-tickets are convenient and quick because they eliminate the need to exchange for physical tickets. However, since most Donghai Bus drivers are unaware of e-tickets, it takes a lot of explaining to them for each trip, making it more troublesome.
Reviews: Izu Tokai Bus Free Ride Pass "Ito & Izu Kogen 2-day Ticket"

I booked two days' tickets in advance on Trip.com. After booking, do not open the ticket and press "Use". Only press "Use" on the day you arrive. The day you open the ticket counts as day one. After opening the ticket, there will be a countdown for the day and day two. Show the ticket to the driver when boarding, then pull out the tamper ticket to board. When getting off, show the ticket to the driver again and return the tamper ticket (he will ask you to put it in a coin-operated slot). This two-day ticket is quite convenient and cost-effective. You'll basically break even after about four rides. Friendly reminder: Do your research before taking the bus, as the buses to each attraction are different, and importantly, they run infrequently, sometimes with a wait of up to an hour. Be careful not to miss the last bus, then you might have to take a taxi.
