It's extremely convenient to buy tickets in advance on TripCom. We bought our roundtrip tickets well in advance. On the island, we decided to leave a day early. We were able to change our ticket at the Telaga port (where we were scheduled to depart from), and at the ticket office, they changed it to a different date without any hassle.★

This time we chose the ferry instead of a speedboat. On our previous trip from Phuket to Krabi, we paid for speed with a big loss of comfort, so now we wanted to enjoy the journey itself — and it was the right decision.
The ferry is very comfortable, with spacious seating and the option to walk on deck, take photos and enjoy the scenery. The trip feels like a small sea excursion, not just a transfer.
We booked first class, and the air conditioning there is very strong, so I recommend bringing a jacket or hoodie. You can also upgrade to first class on board for 200 baht.
The views along the way are stunning: limestone cliffs, islands and turquoise water. Very relaxing and not tiring at all.
I definitely recommend the ferry. It’s not just transportation, but a great travel experience. If you choose between speed and comfort — go with the ferry.★

The tour was superbly organized. A minibus arrived at the hotel and took us to the pier within an hour. There, we were given stickers and boarding passes based on our lists. Two hours later, we arrived at Tonsai Pier. On board, in the Economy Lounge, we were given tea, coffee, water, and motion sickness pills. Everything was perfect. The captain passed Maya Bay, Pele Bay, and the Viking Cave, giving us a great view.
