Things to do in Phu Quoc Island

What an epic day visiting Hon Thom Island! 🌴Floating over 8km across the ocean on the world's longest cable car with crystal clear blue water below us 🌊 Bright water park fun, and to top it off, a completely private cabin ride back so we could snap photos from every corner! 🚠📸✨

Had a great time at the safari! The animals have a lot of space to roam around. The walking part is on the smaller side and quite short, but overall the whole place is very neat and well-organised.

We bought a combo ticket for the Teddy Bear Museum and a Venice gondola ride. The Teddy Bear Museum wasn't as big as we expected, and we finished our visit quickly. The museum also has a children's playground, where the kids played for quite a while, while adults could sit and relax. The Venice gondola ride itself only took about 20 minutes. The gondoliers were very helpful, taking photos for us. Although we didn't speak the language, their service was excellent!

The overall impression of the Sun world is really great! First, the cable car is definitely worth visiting, it’s the longest cable car that is above the sea. Incredible views in a sunny weather are amazing! Second, we liked the combination of an amusement park with the water park. So, in a hot weather you can go to the water park and enjoy the slides and after it, you can go to the amusement park and explore it as well. Plus, the ticket includes free drink (we choose watermelon juice) and surprisingly it was really good! So fresh in a hot weather!

Pack light, there are lockers onsite and snack stalls if cravings hit!Personal Tips:Don’t just stick to the main beach—walk a bit for quieter coves (super chill for a swim!). Water shoes are clutch for shellier parts, and if you’re keen on snorkeling, bring your own mask (the rental quality is hit or miss). Visit right after morning opening for fewer crowds and glowy light for photos.Getting Around:Grab a taxi or rent a motorbike to the An Thoi cable car station. From there, it’s a breezy 20-minute ride to island bliss! On Phu Quoc, motorbikes are cheap, but taxis are great if you want max chill.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐A lovely place to visit, especially with young children! The Teddy Bear Museum has many cute and creative displays, with plenty of photo opportunities. My kids enjoyed exploring the different sections and looking at the teddy bears. The museum is well maintained and a nice indoor activity to escape the heat in Phu Quoc. Worth visiting if you're travelling with family!
