The beachfront hotels are similar to most resort hotels, but the Royal Peterman Hotel in Ubud is nestled in the mountains, featuring individual villas with swimming pools and a river that flows through the hotel for rafting – quite unique. Local prices are reasonable; a car hire for a day with a driver costs 30 USD. Overall, it was a good experience and worth returning to.
My flight was delayed by a day, and the hotel arrangement was changed to a 1+2+1 package. The fact that the two hotels were far apart wasn't clearly explained, making the trip quite inconvenient.★

A super therapeutic and meaningful panda volunteer experience! The entire process was well-organized, the staff were patient and professional, we observed the daily lives of these national treasures up close, and even got to trim bamboo leaves and make panda-shaped steamed buns – an immersive experience of the work of a zookeeper. Away from the crowds of tourists, we gained a deeper understanding of panda conservation and learned so much!★

The trip was well organised with Mia and Rachel giving clear instructions regarding timings, pick up and drop off points. The shuttle bus was comfortable and the driver professional. The Pandas themselves were beyond cute.Trip.com picks
